    Paul calls Jesus a man, more than once. Does that make Paul wrong?

    The point is that we are not trusting in flesh. Jesus is more than flesh.

    True, but the one who was manifest in the flesh was also taken up into glory and is called “he”. I can only think of one person that this can be talking about. Is there another candidate?

    T8,
    No, it doesn’t infer any such thing? It instead infers that
    Jesus manifested God in the flesh; there is a difference.

    If it actually said “God was manifest in the flesh, it could indeed mean based on that sentence that Jesus is God. Of course it directly contradicts the rest of the Bible and it actually says “He was manifest in the fle…[Read more]

    Free will requires options. God put the tree of life and the tree of good and evil in the garden. It was an important part of allowing mankind to choose a path. He never forced them to eat from either and he even warned them not to eat of the tree of good and evil because he didn’t want them to.

    If you cannot figure that out Gene, then most of…[Read more]

    Whoever wrote that Ignatius used “God” in a quote of 1 Tim. 3:16 is, I believe, completely wrong.

    I would appreciate an answer to my question.

    Why is there no name or information for the person who made that comment?

    @tigger

    Glad you researched this. And the reason that the person is not a member of the forum is because they originally mad…[Read more]

    Many Christians moved to America in the early days of American immigration. That persecution was coming from Europe.
