Further, he did not focus on the past empires as they were not the future, and he did not focus on Greece for example. If we go to the next verse we can see, the focus is not where Satan sits, but the abominations they are dwelling in,
which are of Satan.
Therefore they are dwelling in Satan spiritually.

The focus of the verse is about those Believers that dwell  where Satan’s throne is. Plain and simple.

It clearly states: “I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is; and you hold fast My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you,where Satan dwells…“

THE BIBLE DOES NOT SAY IT IS ROME ,well what power would it be if not Rome ? when the kingdom of God was set up ?(Jesus time)
