Wakeup, your post proves to me you are unwilling to change. That is a shame.

Wakeup, you made it the heading of the topic and you stated it again in the post.

But my advice stands. If you teach things as if they are so, then they have to be true.

But you are allowed to highlight a theory, say something might be true, or quote statements elsewhere, but make sure you are not preaching them as absolute truth.

    I had you up…[Read more]

I agree. All these empires had great influence. No debating that. I assumed that we would all be on the same page with that one. It wouldn’t be an empire if it didn’t have great influence.

    Thanks for posting this scripture.

First thing that I noticed is the term: ” it was visible to the ends of the earth”. In another scripture regarding Rome it said, it will trample the whole Earth. This opens up the flood of Noah as being local to that area of the world if the whole Earth is that region where the Beast sits.

    Second thing is tha…[Read more]

You just love to see me fail don’t you; just like many here.
But no; I will not fail.

I don’t want anyone to fall, this is why I post this. I point out the truth that the Lord did not speak to you regarding this and if anyone has any sense, they will also consider the possibility of your other views as also failing in like manner.

Wakeup as far as your views on the cashless society I heard all this before even as far back as the early eighties. It is nothing new. I think we have all heard it before, and I believe it will happen. But will it lead to the mark of the Beast, you teach yes, I say it might, but be open to it being something else, lest you take the mark because…[Read more]

Wakeup, I do not want to see you fall. I warn people beforehand to stop them from falling. If I wanted you to fall, I would never warn you of anything and wait for you to walk into a trap.

Scripture is used for reproof, correction, etc. When we use scripture this way, it is not done so a person falls, but so a person learns from scripture a better way.

You teach a certain eschatology and so what you teach is open to being judged in the manner that this scripture suggests.

There maybe empires alive today such as the American empire, but I don’t believe that there is a head of the Beast alive today. That said, what we see in the Middle East now may well give rise to an Islamic Empire.

One of the heads received a deadly wound and then came back to life. The eighth Kingdom will be of the seventh.

If a man attempts to predict the future and fails, we can know that the Lord did not speak through Him.

But do you believe that he is the only God as the text says?

    Yes / No

Be honest, your answer is no.

If it is yes, then you lose the debate right.

You need to add in a word to make it fit your view. Satan could add in one word too, such as False. That one word changes everything. So please answer the question using the verse as it is written,…[Read more]

You are free to disagree with history, but here is a Wiki on the definition of the Byzantine Empire. You probably disagree because it doesn’t line up with your personal eschatological view.
