@DavidL. Hopefully you are one with God and Jesus as Jesus prayed that we should.
But if this oneness makes you God as you claim, THEN YOU CANNOT BE ONE WITH GOD.
You have been caught out in your own craftiness DavidL.
Either way you have lost your point because from your standpoint, you are either not one with God, or you are and that makes…[Read more]

Hi T8,
The quran is purported to be free of errors.
But here we see a doozy – a sure deal breaker for the Christian. It is funny that when you show a Muslim this blatant error they say “sister of Aaron”
is merely a cliche like saying “father Abraham” or “son of David” But you plainly see that
THEY GOT THE WRONG Miriam, Jesus’ mother was not…Proclaimer replied to the topic Islamic Empire in the forum Prophetic News & Eschatology 11 years, 5 months ago

bod.
God creates people all the time.
What is it to you if he decides to begat a son for himself?
What is it to you if many sons are begotten so that we become brothers with him?
Why think this is unthinkable? Probably because you are thinking that God has sex in order to have a son.
Look up the word begotten.
Also, if you logically think…[Read more]

Praise God for each day he gives us. Let us not waste the days we are given.

If the one true God has a son and another God doesn’t have a son, then they are not the same God.
Even Satan poses as an Angel of Light and who gave Mohammed the words of the Quran? Was it an angel?
Further, if Satan wants to be like the Most High, then if he copies him to some degree, then that doesn’t make him God.
So similarities are not…[Read more]

But why the two timings?
The dead are ahead of the living when they meet the Lord.
Why is that?
Surely it would happen to all in the same moment, but it says otherwise.

Yes that is one explanation and a good one at that.

Instantly?
I cannot say for sure. It seems to be that way when you read a number of scriptures.
I do know for sure that the dead in Christ rise before them which are alive and remain. So why do they not rise at the same time?
We are not told specifically how much before though, in that scripture at least. It doesn’t negate being instantly with…[Read more]

we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
Kerwin.
When we are absent from the body are we present with the Lord or not?
Is there a third stage not mentioned here? What is it?

If an idol is something in the place of God that is not God, then of those who say Jesus is God, have they made Jesus an idol?
And is the word ‘idol’ always negative?
We often use that word to describe famous singers for example.

Thanks Kerwin.
Jesus changed or changes, God does not.
Philippians 2:6-116 Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
7 rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.

No one rejects Jesus in Islam.
If a person rejects the son of God, they reject Jesus because he is the son of God.
If your Jesus is not the son of the living God, then you preach another Jesus.
2 Corinthians 11:4
For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the…[Read more]- Load More
