“Basic logic is this, if we accept God has a son, that means God is the Father.”
&
“If the Holy Spirit fathered Jesus, then the Holy Spirit is the Father’s own spirit.”Confusion is to make Jesus, God himself. Doing that makes him his own son. We should stick with simplicity in Christ.
The wise of this world are foolish in the eyes of G…[Read more]

Yes, you miss a lot when you rely on your own understanding
True faith is based on the revelation of Jesus Christ
not the dead doctrines of uninspired men – which you promote.
You are entitled to your opinion of course, but to convince those who love the truth, we only ask for scripture. Then we will take a look.
We hold to the truth that the F…[Read more]

Is it eternal life to know both the only true God and the Son of God, that this only true God sent?
Is that a fabrication?
Or is it that the three co-equal persons as the same God a fabrication?
In the least, one of these options is a fabrication.
I do not think Jesus own words were a fabrication, so you know which I believe is the…[Read more]

I bet we all do that. There are things that Rick Joyner believes that you do not etc. Does that mean we can only quote things from people we are in 100% agreement with? If so, then there would be zero unity in the Church probably. Paul didn’t always see eye to eye with others for example, but that didn’t stop him from working with them.
I do not…[Read more]

lies – because, like all cult teaching, you twist Scripture to promote your own false ideas..
So how is this clear passage of scripture twisted? We take it at face value. To see it as the Trinity or to not contradict the Trinity requires much twisting.

While you continue to rely on doctrine…
DavidL. Are you aware how important doctrine is?
And you advocate relying on a man-made third-century doctrine instead?
I think not.
2 John 1:9
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.Proclaimer replied to the topic Upon this rock, Jesus Christ built his Church in the forum Truth or Tradition 11 years, 2 months ago
True faith is based on the revelation of Jesus Christ
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven”.
Okay I believe that and thus because I believe it with all my heart and mind, then…[Read more]

But did the Word that did exist, come in the flesh to live amongst us?
Proclaimer replied to the topic Development of the Trinity Doctrine – The Trinity Doctrine in the forum Truth or Tradition 11 years, 2 months ago
But can humans have God without the son. Not that God exists without the son.
Yes humans can have God because God willed it that the son would come into the world at the right time.
If he was not going to rescue man, then no, no one could have God throughout history.

Hi t8,
Yes Jesus Christ is.
The vessel Jesus of Nazareth? no.Oh okay. If the Word became flesh, then did the Word become Jesus of Nazareth or not

Everyone knows that Jesus is the Son of the Living God…
Okay, so if he is God, then he is the son of himself?
Or is he the son of the other god?
Or what?

Yes Nick, we both missed the part where Peter said that Jesus was God.
DavidL, kindly point it out to us.

BTW, we should stick to the topic and not diverge too much. There are many topics devoted to the Trinity vs the one true God elsewhere.
🙂

You are not happy that eternal life is to know the only true God AND his son Jesus Christ?
John 17:3
Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.I am happy to teach this. If people are offended about the Father being the one true God and Jesus is the son of the one true God and the one…[Read more]

Hi,
Note how the Word is from the beginning till the end.
Thus Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.Hi KW,
Yes that is what I was saying.
The Word is the Son.
Yesterday today and forever.Great Nick. I see you have had a change of heart, or that you have made yourself understood while I misunderstood your earlier…[Read more]
