Let test your words Gene.
Kerwin……I can honor anyone that does not mean I worship them. I believe T8 is wrong. I realize worship contains honor, in some aspects, but it certainly is not the exact same word. I don’t believe you believe it is either. IMO
While you already understand that the word worship contains honour, let’s look at legit…[Read more]

Yes that is my point. You earlier asked what made me think the fire that the wicked would suffer was the same as the one that burns the heavens and earth. Have I answered your question?

But someone may ask, “How will the dead be raised? What kind of bodies will they have?” What a foolish question! When you put a seed into the ground, it doesn’t grow into a plant unless it dies first. And what you put in the ground is not the plant that will grow, but only a bare seed of wheat or whatever you are planting. Then God gives it…[Read more]Proclaimer started the topic 1 Corinthians 15:35-38 in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 11 years, 2 months ago

Doesn’t matter what you believe because the point is that the worship and honour is the same word in scripture.
The Hebrew word shachah and the Greek word proskuneo account for more than 80% of the translated word for ‘worship’ in most English bibles.
It is applied to God, Jesus, and men legitimately and to false gods with negative…[Read more]

So you are saying that spirit is not the essence of God.
Are angels spirits?
Did you know that God is the father of spirits.
Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live!
Is God the Father of unity or all the spirits that reside inside…[Read more]

Paul is making against living according to the letter of the law and for living by the newness of Spirit of it in verses 1-6.
Regardless. He still said the following:
Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.
To me, if we say we have no sin, we are a liar. The difference between the righteous and…[Read more]

Hi T8,
You seem to express opinions rather than show truth. It is not my opinion but was stated by someone else.

In the day, you can see ahead. In the night, you stumble into things because you cannot see even that which is in front of you.

Terr. Let me get this straight. Are you saying that Jesus Christ has already returned?
Proclaimer replied to the topic Signs Before the End of the Age in the forum Visions & Testimonies 11 years, 2 months ago
Nothing wrong with looking at the signs as God gave signs for those who watch. However, it is also correct that it is more important to know God. My thinking is if you love God and his son, you will avidly look for his coming as that day would be very special to you. But if you were not interested in the signs of his coming, then that probably…[Read more]

God is all present so he is present in each and every one of his creations
He can be one with us when his spirit is in us. Our spirits bear witness when his spirit is in us.
We are one with God in spirit and truth.
