God can save anyone he wants because Jesus died for all mankind. God is sovereign.

I agree dwillis.
We can receive the spirit without water baptism, but for me, if that happened, then we would receive water baptism because we were instructed to do so.
But for those who never get the chance, it doesn’t mean that they do not have salvation. The thief on the cross wasn’t water baptised and many more. While he died under the Old…[Read more]

What you say is true, but has no bearing on Ray Comfort.
Are evangelists not allowed to preach say the existence of God to an Atheist, the law to someone without the law, etc before delivering the gospel?
If not, I would like to know why. If it is okay, then our conversation about Ray Comfort highlighting the 10 commandments before delivery of…[Read more]

Edj/t8
if what he says is true ,the entire letter from Paul to the Hebrews was false and lies ,That’s a bit harsh Terr. We see through a glass dimly. Unless we have crystal clear vision on prophecy, we should not condemn other views harshly IMO. If we take that stance, we endanger ourselves with missing the truth because we do not have all the…[Read more]

Good luck listening to EdJ, t8.
Thanks. I would like to think that I could listen to him, of course that is no guarantee that I would believe him. But God does speak through unsuspecting people at times. For me, to hear the voice of the shepherd is to not only hear him in your heart, but also hear him through others, even others that we wouldn’t…[Read more]

I would just like to add that just because Gog Magog are mentioned as existing near the end of the Millennium, it is not certain proof that the Ezekiel War will happen then.
Scripture often uses the ancient names of places and doesn’t mention modern names, even millennia later. We don’t read about the USA or Australia for example and we read…[Read more]

He uses the law to lead them to grace. Simple. It is either a good idea or not. You said it yourself, “The Law, which includes the ten commandments, exists to teach us what sin is.”. It’s not anymore complicated than that kerwin.
He is an evangelist BTW, not a teacher of the Church.
Keep it simple. The wise of this world like to complicate…[Read more]

The Law, which includes the ten commandments, exists to teach us what sin is. It gives us no power to overcome sin. Those under the Law are servants to sin and so will sin because they have no power by human power to overcome it.
Those that teach believers they will sin are teaching the old covenant at best and may be teaching their hearers to…

Was the Eastern Roman Empire part of the Roman Empire?
Why is the Roman Empire characterized as two legs of iron in Daniel’s vision?
You need to ask yourself these questions.
When you have the answer, then you will realise that another empire succeeded the Roman Empire and that it lasted for centuries, ruled the Middle East and Eastern Europe,…[Read more]

Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medio Persia, Greece, Rome, Western Civilization.

Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medio Persia, Greece, Rome, Ottoman (Islamic Empire).I guess we are in agreement that there were a succession of empires from Egypt to Rome.
