    Hi Shayne,

Unless you are born again you cannot see the kingdom.

When the tares are removed those in the kingdom will shine like the sun.

True Nick. And just as important, if we have not love, then we likewise do not the Spirit that you speak of.

    1 John 4:8
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born…[Read more]

In many scriptures, the fire is a purifying means  .  The dross is to be burned til the pure element is that which is the end result !!!   For the elect at this time, the fire  purifies them  to the elemental  pure gold !!

I say to you that humanity in general  shall indeed  be purified, in accordance  with the scriptures,  so that the dross sha…

    Hi t8,

The fires on earth come before the judgement.

Only the dead who are not in the kingdom are judged in the white throne judgement.

    So two fires then Nick?

One for the heavens and the earth, and the other for the white throne judgement of the wicked?

When the scripture uses the Greek term for God ho theos, it refers to the true God, but when it uses the term theos, without the article ho, it refers not to the God, but to his most ancient Logos (Somn. 1.229-230).
He is speaking of the Koine Greek OT but it can be seen in John 1c that John is claiming the same thing.

If he called them gods to…[Read more]

That choice of words imply he had flesh before he came.

It does to you because you have applied your own understanding to it.

What if “He existed in the form of God, emptied himself, came in the flesh…” actually said:

He existed in the USA, denied his citizenship, and came to England.

I suppose if you believed he never existed in the USA, t…[Read more]

What salvation. The one written for the saved?

  • Profile picture of Proclaimer

    t8,

Where is it written that salvation is a free gift?

Does that idea fit with Jesus’ words that strive to enter the narrow gate in Luke 13:24?

Do you not know that we have been purchased for a price that is life for life. Salvation is a gift, you cannot earn salvation because the soul that sins will die. Even if you didn’t sin starting from t…[Read more]

Agreed. But how did you come to God if the Bible has no instruction on being saved for the sinner?
From what book did you receive the true message of salvation?
Or perhaps it was an oral tradition that was passed down?

Or maybe that message came from the scriptures itself, the ones that were written for the saved?

    Hi t8,

A man sowed the seed and some fell on fertile ground and it sprouted.

By the grace of God some respond.

Then if they obey they can eat of the letters to the saved and benefit.

Right. Nick seems to disregard that because the books and letters were written to the saved.

    t8,

The bible contains no letters to the unsaved. The closest are the book of Acts and Gospels but all of them are written to the saved.

Then how do you know the true message to the unsaved that can save them?

Nick, here is the answer to your post from your own post.

    Hi T8,
Where have we said anything about the salvation of Ray Comfort?

We have found his teachings false.

    The rest is God’s.

    hi t8,

Why would you defend what God finds offensive?

    False teachers have no inheritance.

Nick, I am, not sure of your point, but the spirit can speak through any of God’s sons without them talking about themselves.

Jesus said that he only speaks what he hears the Father speaking. Thus Jesus is speaking, but choosing the words of his Father.
This is not necessarily Jesus as an empty shell with God inside speaking and doing.
