Okay, so what was the significant event that happened during the Blood Moon tetrad. Foe me it was the rise of ISIS and the consequent refugee crises that saw an invasion of Muslims into Europe.

Did anything else happen that God could have been pointing too?

Kerwin. Jesus is also the truth. Is it not possible that truth, logos, and life can be both an attribute of God and a person that is not God?

Can a person be named a ‘rock’ or ‘grace’.

Why do some people ignore the possibility that logos can be person and an attribute of God as well?

By the way, whatever your opinion, it is true that there are…[Read more]

Nick. So Jesus is a life form and the Word was too? I have never understood what you are proposing here. A merger of two life forms into one? An attribute of God applied to Jesus the man? Perhaps you mean Jesus is the flesh a shell and the Word took that empty body.

Does anyone know what Nick is trying to communicate. I haven’t figured it out…[Read more]

Just doing some maintenance and stumbled across this thread.

I noticed two things. The first was that Kerwin didn’t read the topic correctly.

The second was something I noticed when I had a short look at the video ‘Zeitgeist Religion’. It says in that video that the Three Kings that gave gifts to baby Jesus are three stars in Orion’s Belt (I…[Read more]

    That is true.

    And what is love.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

    Love has fruit…[Read more]

Jesus said “before Abraham, I am’. That is what he said. His sheep hear his voice. Those that listen to another shepherd might disregard that.

Nick, you misunderstand what it means to be inspired. It does not mean automatic writing, or taking control of someone’s voice box and making a broadcast. It is about submitting to God, something we should also do.

Jesus spoke only what HE heard his Father speaking. And did only what he saw his Father doing. Obviously you need to understand w…[Read more]

That is true. Love for one and another and even to love our enemies as the Lord Jesus instructed.  Love has fruit that we can all see.

We are judged by our fruit as that shows the root. Good fruit means a good tree.

Obviously there has to exist a place that is untouched by the fire.

What is it if the wicked are taken to that place and cast into the fire upon the guilty verdict.

    t8,

Philo is actually stating that it is qualitative. In short he claims the Logos has the qualities of God but is not God. Philo did teach the Logos was the Christ.

Yes, the mention of theos in John 1:1c doesn’t have a definite article and logos does.

Philo was not of the Spirit of God or he would not have tried to mix the pure with the ungodly wisdom of men.

Not sure about Philo. He could be right, maybe not. But I do know that those who do not love are not of God.

    t8,

If you take to “came in the flesh” in its literal sense then it means “he came wearing flesh”; for example she came in the blue gown.

I suppose you are attempting to use it metaphorically.

No he actually existed in the form of God, emptied himself, and came in the flesh. I believe it as it is written.
