    Hi t8,

Is it true that you believe that Jesus was an angelic being dressed in flesh?

If not can you clarify what you believe .

This is a new teaching .

Show me where I have taught that, and I will explain what I have written. You obviously misunderstand. Otherwise speculating that I believe that Jesus was an angel (Cherub/Seraph/etc) is…[Read more]

    Hi @ all!

The Gnostic occultists believed that Jesus was not the Christ, but Christ came down on him at his baptism.

The Bible doesn’t say that Jesus came in the flesh and later became the Christ.
1 John 4:2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.

    Jesus is…

    Hi ED,

The most popular understandings are to say that Jesus

    Is God

    Is an angelic being

    Is a pre existent man

But we know none of them are true.

He is a man conceived in Mary and anointed by God as the prophets were but more so who was greatly used by God and we can follow him.

You missed out, the Word that was with God became flesh.

You can deny Jesus’s origins all you like guys, but it doesn’t wash with me. He existed in the form of God then came in the flesh as one of us so we can be one of him.

Gene, you are always going on about that he is no different to us and is one of us and anything else is divisive. But the truth of the matter is he came in flesh and one day we…[Read more]

Anyone supposedly speaking under the authority of Jesus Christ can do the same thing (be transformed into an angel of light, and preach another gospel).  IMO, the biggest threat to a Christian’s faith are Christians themselves. Muslims are not.

Islam has almost made Christians extinct in large swathes of the Middle East. If it say spread to Eu…[Read more]

Not true Nick. Rather, Christ Jesus is not mentioned in the part of I quoted. I quoted it exactly as it is written in that translation.

But yes, if I go back one more verse we see it is referring to Christ Jesus.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Nick, perhaps you didn’t realize. Jesus is the Christ. Most people think…[Read more]

    Hi t8,

You misquote scriptures such as Phil 2.

Actually I quote it. I believe it the way it is written and teach it that way too.

6 Who, being in very nature God,
        did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
7 rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
        being made in human…[Read more]

    hi t8,

    It is outstanding?

    Jn 3.36

He who believes in the Son has eternal life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him

Yes I think so. You do not seem to believe that the disobedient will not see life. They will not be alive. But yes the wrath of God abides with them. That wrath ends with…[Read more]

    Let your words mirror scripture.

Teach what resonates with scriptural truth.

Expressing your own ideas is only spiritual when this is so.

Jesus said: “Before Abraham, I am”. Your view about Jesus whole existence doesn’t match Jesus words here. You seem to teach your own idea with this subject.

I am yet to be convinced that your teaching…[Read more]

    Hi t8,

Is it OK to say JESUS where scripture says JESUS CHRIST?

    Another example of a non-issue.

I have not said anything that resembles this.

    I teach from scripture alone.

Jesus said: “Before Abraham, I am”.

‘Jesus said’ in this case. Who am I to argue with scripture.

No need to ask me if it is okay. I am just quoting scripture as it is.

Where does scripture say Jesus existed in the form of God?

Are you not misquoting phil 2 yet again?

Is it Ok to treat scripture with disrespect?

Yes Nick, Phil 2. Read it for yourself. Show it the respect it deserves.

Could believing that Jesus is NOT the Word of God that was with God be of the Antichrist spirit?

I don’t know, but think about this.

We all know that the Antichrist spirit denies that Jesus came in the flesh.

According to the scriptures below, the Word that was WITH God became flesh.

So denying that Jesus is that Word could be a subtle denial…[Read more]

Yes I tend to think along those lines too.

The pope does sit in the place of Christ delegating so-called God’s authority on Earth and has changed the calendar/time.

But yeah, I cannot see the Vatican gaining its power again that it held for centuries. Who knows.
