I’m a little puzzled about where you want to go here. You said you wanted to go directly to Scripture, avoid all middle men.

Hoghead. I test doctrines and teachings. If you come teaching something new, I will test it with scripture. If the scripture makes a person feel threatened then it should only do that if the person falls short of what the scripture is saying.
