Could be. However in the case of Jesus, he was born the savior and Christ. While I do not think it could be said that we are born saved or born as a son of God. We are born of Adam and have to choose to be born-again.
While we may be foreordained, I am not so sure that we are preordained.

It appears you can still PM while posting rights have been revoked. That is good. It means you do not need to re-register. You can simply PM the Admin and say you will answer the question/s. Then you will be reinstated and we can continue.

2 Timothy 3:3-9
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of…[Read more]

If belief in universal salvation does not belong here perhaps you could expand your ideas in an appropriate thread.
Again you cannot understand. And yes, this does not belong here. I replied to Gene who was the one steering off topic. Often I reply and then later notice that the topic does not match the question or post I am replying to. Rather…[Read more]

Hi T8,
Please clarify.
Are you now teaching that all will be saved?I have never said such a thing. Can you not understand that God wants all, but that it is still up to each person as to whether they choose God or not. Many will not and have not in the past. The wicked will be destroyed because God is life and that life is in his son which is…[Read more]

I agree. We don’t have all the answers, all the more when we first believe. I hope he doesn’t get led astray by all the false teachings too. But he appears to have genuine faith which is the most important, although there are many Christians that would judge him harshly based on his appearance alone which is sad.

Now, dear friends, how could Jesus Christ be BOTH uncreated AS God AND created BY God AND with Jesus Christ being THE CREATOR of all things when Jesus Christ himself is described as being the ‘First OVER creation’?
Dear friends, ask yourself this question: ‘If Jesus Christ is supposed to have created everything, how comes he has to die an excru…

When are men going to listen to God?
If God sends an angel to declare that this day the Christ, savior, Lord, and son of God has been born, then listening to God would mean that we agree with the angel’s message right? But you do not. When will men listen to God? Good question. Some may never do that.

And consider this: Can anyone imagine that almighty God did not know that man would try to corrupt his ‘program’ – that almighty God would not put in place features to outline these corruptions? Goodness… even mankind provides ‘error-correction’ facilities in his computer programs and automated systems…
Is man greater than God?Thumbs up!

A computer programmer writes a program to achieve a given task. Does the human language that program is written in matter as to the effect it has on the purpose of the task?
Absolutely not: English, Chinese, Arabic, Swahili…! The purpose of the task is achieved no matter what the language.
So also the scriptures.
A good post. I can’t argue against it.

Sorry Nick I don’t claim them as my ideas, but rather blame St John as any unbiased person would.
And just what is so bad about the preexistence of Christ anyway? If no man can see God as some verses express, does it not make sense that when people thought they saw God they really saw the Angel of the Lord who was that preexistent Christ?
