Other points to consider
Newtonian gravity – a cannon fired will not continue in a linear direction due to the constant pull of the Earth’s gravity. To break from the Earth’s gravity, an aeroplane must achieve higher speed, which is not possible if the aircraft is on autopilot.
Everything is relative. What do you have as a point of reference…[Read more]

The Earth is circular, it is not a parabola
Digger, your math appears incorrect in this respect and possibly others. This post shows why it’s incorrect in this one respect.
8″xmiles^2 is a fair approximation of the DROP HEIGHT as long as miles is under about 100 miles — after that it actually (and increasingly) underestimates the DROP…[Read more]

Not sure if your math is correct Dig because I need to research it more, but my answer to you is correct about the aircraft maintaining altitude thereby not flying out because that would be gaining altitude. Taken…[Read more]

Dig, instead of teaching and spreading lies, why not travel to Australia and see if the sun travels faster across the sky.
Surely on Judgement Day when you find out you believed and told lies, you will be thinking why didn’t I spend $2000 on a trip to Australia and also turn it into a nice holiday. Think about it when life returns to normal.…[Read more]

That is a 7.5 degree drop every 8 minutes.
Thank you. I will get back. For now, could you answer this.
Do you think it would be noticable if it was 1 degree every 8 minutes?

Then we hear God declared “THIS is my beloved Son” at the river Jordan
A public declaration by God himself of the one who stood before them.
It doesn’t say that he became the beloved son as you are suggesting. That is adding words.

Luke 1 tells you that the child that is born IS the son of David and that he WILL be great and that he WILL be called the Son of the Highest.
Totally fits if he came from Heaven and is back in the glory that he had with the Father before the universe was created.

Yes or no question Dig.
Is this a true statement?
For a moving aircraft the attitude change is linear – at 450 Knots it is a smooth progressive 1 degree change spread across the first 8 minutes, then 1 degree spread across the next 8 minutes and 1 degree for every 8 minutes after that.

t8, are you seriously suggesting that a dive of 38 miles in one hour isn’t noticeable? Do the math.
60/38=1.57 That’s over a mile and a half drop every minute.Seriously Dig, you are not cut out for even the simplest of science truths.
Look again and tell me that this is hard to believe and if so, then show me why it is wrong. If it is correc…[Read more]

I did look at the answer. It appeared you do believe that the sun travels faster. I just want to confirm this is the case though because it was not 100% clear.
Do you believe the sun travels faster in Australia when the sun is over the Tropic of Capricorn compared with the USA when the sun is over the Tropic of Cancer?

Now about that really fast Australian sun from our perspective. I’ve lived in Australia and been to the USA. I never noticed the sun moved across the sky much quicker in Australia. What I can’t understand is no Flat Earther made a video showing this.
Lol.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt.
Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue.

For the tenth time, this is not an issue because this is how it works out.
For a moving aircraft the attitude change is linear – at 450 Knots it is a smooth progressive 1 degree change spread across the first 8 minutes, then 1 degree spread across the next 8 minutes and 1 degree for every 8 minutes after that.

Your so silly. Of course the sun has a circuit from our perspective.
This debate is not about our perspective only.
As for the Bible, it is sinpired by God and for the perspective of man. Why would he write it from the perspective of Mars, the moon, or anywhere in outer space?
Think Dig think.

Yeh, I’m getting that picture now. Thanks for joining the debate.
A plane that is traveling at 550 mph would necessarily drop 550×550=302,500 inches which equals 25,208 feet which is 4.77 miles in one hour! Sure the pilot could nod off but that’s a bit of a correction change. I would appreciate you and t8 admitting that. For a moving aircraft…[Read more]

Jodi cherry-picks all the humanity verses and thinks this nullifies all the other verses that show us who Jesus is and where he came from.
As if these verses disproved the other verses.
We believe Jesus was a man.
Jesus Christ came in the flesh.
