Australia will face ‘collateral attacks’ if war breaks out
It looks like New Zealand’s neighbour understands the threat all to well.Proclaimer replied to the topic The most high god in the forum Scriptural Teachings 5 years, 2 months ago
I am not surprised about your statement above. But Hebrew Bible does not support these ideas on God Yahweh. I know our NT had created problem for us to believe all these strange ideas.
Wrong. Name your no1 NT verse that supports the Trinity?

So for us believers there is one God the Father and one lord, the Lord Jesus Christ.
But for LU, there is one God the Father Son and Spirit. And one Lord, Lird Father, Lord Jesus, and Lord Spirit.
Did I crack the formula this time?

Proclaimer and Adam,
The Father + The Son + The Spirit = One God, One Lord, and One Spirit. All are identified as YHVH.
The Father alone is not One God, One Lord, and One Spirit.
I see. You have evolved from the Binity to the Trinity. This matches the history of the Trinity. It started as a Binity. The Spirit was added as the third member…[Read more]

LU. God made Jesus both lord and Christ.
Nobody made God as God.
Being made lord is not to disimilar to the pharoah who mde Joseph as lord over Egypt. While he was given the highest authority, it did not include authority over the pharoah.
Likewise, Jesusvas Lord means he reigns over all, except for God.
And because both Jesus and Joseph were…[Read more]

You seem to believe that only one person is both God of gods as well as Lord of lords. Why do you disagree with Paul in 1 Cor 8:6 who says that we have one God and one Lord and they are two persons?
But LU, you believe two are God and two are Lord. You also err.

Nothing to see here folks.
Straight off the bat it is worth mentioning that words and languages evolve. A word that may well have been used to describe a pantheon of deities could then be used to describe the most high God when a people recognise that there is indeed one true God. It’s not hard to imagine people thinking their pantheon as being…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Proclaimer vs Lightenup in the forum Debates 5 years, 2 months ago

LU: Therefore, wisdom couldn’t be His first work if He existed before His first work.
I’ve said this many times. If Trinitarians could rightly distinguish between an attribute and a person, then they wouldn’t be confused and consequently invent doctrines like the Trinity to explain this confusion
This is applicable to Binitarians, Quadtari…[Read more]

Berean……….It’s interesting how you people see the words ‘Jesus’ written there when it’s not really there, but then again you people put all kinds of words in our scriptures and even contradict Jesus’ very own written words like when he said this in prayer to God the Father, “that they might know you “THE “ONLY” TRUE GOD”, AND the scripture…

Proclaimer…..Here is what, I believe you and others fail to understand , Jesus as a “prototype”, of , what God had in mind for his whole human creation, from the beginning even before he ever created anything that exists. Me: Suffering Messiah was not known to Jews of Jesus’ time the same is clearly evident even in the earliest strands of the NT writings. Here are few such verses;
The messiah is revealed to people including Jews. Nevertheless, even if Jesus is rejected as messiah, the idea of a suffering messiah is not foreign.

Let’s look at what Jesus said more closely. It seems obvious that what Jesus is saying is going to take some time to be fulfilled. I will colour the parts that obviously cannot take place immediately or in the short-term. Clearly, you will see that Jesus was talking about a longer period of time than you are making out gadam.

Although, another view is they started to die that day. They say the day we are born is also the day we start to die.
Regardless, I still believe a day is a period of time and not always the time it takes the earth to do a revolution.
A day is as a thousand years to God, likewise a thousand years is like a day.
