There is also this point. Demons knew who he was. No faith needed. Men did not. The see through a glass darkly and walk by faith and not sight.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

As is apparent in your last post, you have no idea about Greek plural nouns or singular nouns. Here is a picture of how the root word “theos” is changed in spelling to represent different uses of the word in the sentence. Please note that the singular form is not written the same as the plural form.
I can’t help it if you keep mis…[Read more]
Proclaimer replied to the topic Did God create all things through the Lord Jesus Christ? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 4 years, 11 months ago
Me: It is a good argument. But Paul clearly specifies a leading role to Jesus in God’s creation process which is not supported in the Hebrew Bible. I wonder why it was necessary to include Jesus in creation of the world where God alone was the sole author and source and without any agent. Please read Isaiah 45:
Not so. As pounted out clearly a…[Read more]

The consensus among historians is that Monotheism emerged around 500 BC, with polytheism prevalent before that. But there is overwhelming evidence now that monotheism may precede all other forms of religion. This

Proclaimer….what I see is, you and others here, Do not understand the Greek word “dia” just that simple . You also don’t believe what God the Father himself said, in Isaiah. That he by “himself” and “alone” did it, SEEMS YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND THE WORDS, “ALONE AND BY MYSELF”. Neither do you believe what Genesis one says about our creat…

One thing we have to remember that we don’t have the original sayings of Jesus as per the NT Scholars. The writers of Matthew and Luke copied from Mark. The narrations and saying were developed after so many years of the actual events taken place. The Gospels were not the oldest writings in the NT. We know little about the historical Jesus from t…

Again you have taken your supporting information from another Trinitarian website “Jews for Jesus”. You can check their statement of faith;
Of course I take things from here and there. That is good.

It’s really simple. There is revelation and then a greater revelation and then a full unveiling.
We are at the stage of the greater revelation and awaiting the time when all things will be revealed.
Of course, not all will accept the greater revelation. It is up to the individual.

It’s crazy how Social Media banned and bans talk on the Coronoavirus origin and now scientists are now saying it likely came from the Wuhan Lab.
It seems the truth is not the truth till the elites tell us it is.

I know this is not the thread for arguing such theological Dogma. I don’t think Jesus was meant about these man made Pandemics. He was talking to the First Century crowds in their own context. Even if you take the latest Apocalyptic book Revelation it never talks about future times. All its imagery and symbols like horses, swords etc were all a…

I am not surprised about your statement above. But Hebrew Bible does not support these ideas on God Yahweh. I know our NT had created problem for us to believe all these strange ideas.
Wrong. Name your no1 NT verse that supports the Trinity?
Proclaimer replied to the topic JOHN 1:1 who is the WORD? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 4 years, 11 months ago
So for us believers there is one God the Father and one lord, the Lord Jesus Christ.
But for LU, there is one God the Father Son and Spirit. And one Lord, Lird Father, Lord Jesus, and Lord Spirit.
Did I crack the formula this time?
Proclaimer replied to the topic JOHN 1:1 who is the WORD? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 4 years, 11 months ago
Proclaimer and Adam,
The Father + The Son + The Spirit = One God, One Lord, and One Spirit. All are identified as YHVH.
The Father alone is not One God, One Lord, and One Spirit.
I see. You have evolved from the Binity to the Trinity. This matches the history of the Trinity. It started as a Binity. The Spirit was added as the third member…[Read more]

LU. God made Jesus both lord and Christ.
Nobody made God as God.
Being made lord is not to disimilar to the pharoah who mde Joseph as lord over Egypt. While he was given the highest authority, it did not include authority over the pharoah.
Likewise, Jesusvas Lord means he reigns over all, except for God.
And because both Jesus and Joseph were…[Read more]

You seem to believe that only one person is both God of gods as well as Lord of lords. Why do you disagree with Paul in 1 Cor 8:6 who says that we have one God and one Lord and they are two persons?
But LU, you believe two are God and two are Lord. You also err.

Nothing to see here folks.
Straight off the bat it is worth mentioning that words and languages evolve. A word that may well have been used to describe a pantheon of deities could then be used to describe the most high God when a people recognise that there is indeed one true God. It’s not hard to imagine people thinking their pantheon as being…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Proclaimer vs Lightenup in the forum Debates 4 years, 11 months ago
