God is speaking
For to which of the angels did God ever say,
God is not speaking
But about the Son he says,
The Son says…? The Psalmist says…?
Psalm 45 is directed at a human king. Some say Solomon. Another meaning of the word ‘theos’ is mighty one. If this can be said of a human king, then how much more the one who sits on throne next…[Read more]

“For the transgressions of My people He was stricken”. What people was Isaiah part of? The people of Israel, of course. So “my people” refers to the people of Israel. Therefore Israel cannot be the Suffering Servant of the Lord.

Undebunking “The Forbidden Chapter” Isaiah 53 Conspiracy
The 17th century Jewish historian, Raphael Levi, admitted that long ago the rabbis used to read Isaiah 53 in synagogues, but after the chapter caused “arguments and great confusion” the rabbis decided that the simplest thing would be to just take that prophecy out of the Haftarah reading…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic in the forum Proclaimer 4 years, 10 months ago

If the messiah’s name is Jesus, then Jesus is the Christ.
If Jesus name is the Word of God, then he is the Word of God.

These were the quotations by the Pre-Nicene Fathers quoting the same New Testament and nothing new in these statements. Of course there is no support for these statements in the Hebrew Bible.
The main narrative with an old and new testament is that the old gave the law and condemd sin in mankind. It promises a messiah.
The new is about the…[Read more]

I appreciate your comparison of Taj Mahal with the creation of God. But the problem here, Taj was not made before (the birth) or marriage of Muntaz to Shahjahan, the Indian Emperor.
I think this statement is irrelevant because the pupose of saying this was to argue how one person can go to the utmost length for another because of love. Knowing…[Read more]

Matt 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
At best, we cannot say that Matthew 28:19 teaches a Trinity, but could certainly lead people in that direction if their hearts were wayward. However, this is one of these verses that are thought to have been a…[Read more]

Let’s do an experiment. If the NT teaches that God is a Trinity, then let’s look at this verse again and replace the word ‘God’ for ‘Trinity’?
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.
Now apply the Trinity filter:
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of The Trinity,…[Read more]

The verse you quote is clear that the Father is the one true God. Let’s take a look.

Hello brother Gene, I appreciate your post to me on John 1:1 about the “Word”. In fact the poetical narration of this writer of Fourth Gospel wanted to place Jesus, the supposed Messiah along with God in the beginning by comparing him with the “Word” which was involved in God’s creation in the beginning. This imagination of this writer caused Ch…

ADAM……Scripture that say “the word of God became flesh” is one of the most misunderstood scriptures in our text for several reasons, one is a very simple to understand , because a word is an expression of intellect, it has nothing to do with flesh, words never has and never will have either , words are spirit according to Jesus.

I am sorry I have not mentioned any Trinity in my post but I have stated that our NT supports deviated ideas on God. For example 2 Cor 13:13
So you agree then that the New Testament does not teach that God is a Trinity?

The Father alone is not One God
yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.

Proclaimer and Adam,
The Father + The Son + The Spirit = One God, One Lord, and One Spirit. All are identified as YHVH.
The Father alone is not One God, One Lord, and One Spirit.
So you are a Trinitarian then.
Except you do not believe that the Spirit is a person, thus making you a heretic in the eyes of Trinitarian authority.

If something happened in the past and it is recorded in different ways and in different cultures that usually suggests that something happened, word got around, and the telling of the account changed over time.
