Thanks Ambassador for your input so far. Feel free to join in again when and if time becomes available to you again. In the meantime I hope and pray that you will be open, humble and teachable in all things; only then can God lead us on to his great and wonderful purposes and truths that He wants to reveal to us. The Word was God:John 1:1 a) In the beginning was the Word, (En arche en ho logos)b) and the Word was with God, (kai ho logos en pros ton theon)C) and the Word was God. (kai theos en ho logos). The Greek word translated "God" is "theos." The Greek does not have a different word to show possession. Therefore, theos can be translated "God" or…[Read more]

I AM."Before Abraham was, I am." These words, spoken by our Savior in Jn.8:58, have led to much controversy and confusion. Some use this verse to prove the the trinity doctrine and to prove that Yahshua (Jesus) is Yahweh, the great "I AM" of Ex.3:14.The phrase "I am" is "ego eimi" in Greek. Since the Greek New Testament records Yahshua using "ego…[Read more]

To Ambassador of Christ:This post doesn't answer any of your questions or statements. I am just laying a foundation for what will come next. Most of the basis for the trinity doctrine is concerning the use of the title “Elohim”, translated “God”. The word “Elohim” is the most overused word in trying to prove the Trinity. The word “Elohim” does have…[Read more]

Yes, I understand the Trinity doctrine. It basically says that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit combined are God. Each is God, but there is only one God. Like the members of you own family eg. Jack is a Jones, Jill is a Jones, and Bob is a Jones, they are all different but they are all the Jones family. However, it is not the lack of understanding…[Read more]

Jesus lit a fire when he came to this world, a fire to destroy the works of the enemy. When he died that fire started to burn bigger and brighter with truth as the fuel. Satan tried in vain to put the fire out by trying to blow the flames out with the wind of persecution. Instead of the fire going out however, his actions only spread the fire to…[Read more]

DanielThanx for your post and your reasons for the Book of Enoch not being authentic.Your quote "First, it should be noted that Jude is quoting Enoch himself, not from a book of Enoch".The only 2 options as I see it is that Jude is quoting either an oral or written record. Oral records are very unreliable and are usually exagerated over time to…[Read more]

You say that we should reject this book because it is written in a language younger than the period in which Enoch lived. Given this wisdom, would we not have to reject the bible as unauthentic?I think that it is understandable that the Book of Enoch would have to be translated or copied many times as the books in the bible have been. Paper…[Read more]

To LodeRunner Regarding this quote:Some of (well most or all of really) the writings accessible through your main page are extremely similar (and dead on in many cases) to that of the Jehovah’s witnesses. My answer is that I am not and have never been a JW. I am totally against christian organisations that try to make a name for themselves. If it…[Read more]

I have no qualms with the The Apostle's Creed as it is written in your post. In my opinion I think that it is accurate. It doesn't mention the trinity, but acknowledges the Father Son and Holy Spirit and describes who they are. I think that God hasn't been made into an idol yet. With regard to The Nicene Creed you have quoted, in my opinion, I…[Read more]

Yes I agree with you that we must challenge teachings with scripture as we are aware that the scriptures rebuke and correct us when we are wrong. My desire is to search the scriptures as you have said. I also felt it appropriate to start with a little history of why I came to this conclusion, as well as a look back into history. I do not…[Read more]

John 11 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God.I dont know where people get this notion. It clearly doesnt say The Word is God.The scriptures are very clear that Christ is from God, he is subject to God and God knows things that his Son does not.The scriptures are also clear that Gods children are of…[Read more]

I remember once God gave me a dream about a very specific future event. He showed me a person, a person of authority. I was shown what he looked like, where I was to meet him, the date and time, and he gave me a message to deliver to him. I was suppose to wake up and write it all down, but I couldn’t be bothered waking up, and I thought to myself…[Read more]

Back in the late 1990s or possibly very early 2000s, I received a very vivid dream in which New Zealand was invaded by China. Since that time, I have hesitated to write it down and share it mainly because the such an event was too far fetched to be believed. But it has bothered me over the years because the dream came in a similar fashion to other…[Read more]
