To WhiteMateria,Quote (WhiteMateria @ July 10 2005,00:31)Question: How would the early Jews ever have become Christian if they had come to believe that Jesus was one other than Jehovah (YHWH)? How does this still hold true for today's Christian community?John 8:42Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God…[Read more]

To WhiteMateria,It's easy to understand.God is the only saviour. God is the only one who is good. But God delegates. He uses believers to preach the gospel so that unbelievers get the opportunity to believe. Yet it is still God that saves. Similary God decided to save mankind, so he sent his son into the world to save us. Jesus himself even asked…[Read more]

To WhiteMateria, There is nothing wrong with quoting from different translations, especially if the meaning is brought out clearer. The NIV was used by default because Gospelcom used that translation as the default. Other translations were used if they do a better job than the NIV with binging out the point(s) clearer. No single translation is…[Read more]

FYI, Your doctrine says that God died for our sins. That is incorrect. God's son died for our sins.God cannot die. He is the God of the living not the dead. You can't kill God. He is eternal. If you are pushing the Trinity doctrine, then try replacing the word 'God' with 'Trinity' when you read the bible and see how confusing your doctrine…

God is love and all that he does is motivated by love. In an imperfect world sometimes love forces hard things to happen for the greater good.I know that if I had not been through the hardships that I have in my life, then I would have less character. When I die I take my character with me, but my goods stay here on earth.Sometimes what is hard…[Read more]

Hey thanks. When I first believed in God, I like many, was told that I have to belong to a denomination. When I did that, God gave me a dream of a zoo and in one of the cages was me and those who went to the denomination I went to. I didn't understand it at the time, but I was a little annoyed because I had nothing but positive affirmation from the…[Read more]

Yes that is what I think too. We have a guarantee (the Holy Spirit) but a guarantee can be broken if we choose that.

Ephesians 1:13-14In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.I saw this verse today on the front page of Heaven Net. Thought I would quote it in…[Read more]

I will start with this one from Nick. Encyclopaedia Britannica The Son must be therefore deemed a creature who has been called into existence out of nothing and has had a beginning. Moreover, the Son can have no direct knowledge of the Father since the Son is finite and of a different order of existence.Does the encyclopaedia have a source for this quote?

Thanks for your posts Nick.It seems that one man's error created a situation that certain other men tried to correct or counter balance. This led to the opposing argument being false as well. We often see this with man and his dealings. A neglect can lead to a rebellion and at times that rebellion is just as worse. Some countries where the…[Read more]

Thanks Cubes,The last word of the Bible is amen, or amen in its original Greek. The Greek gematria value of amen is 99 (alpha 1, mu 40, eta 8, nu 50). Jesus often said “verily” (which is the same word as “amen”) to express a truth. It has been suggested by some that the numerical value of this word is significant, given that “amen” is used to seal…[Read more]

Maybe this is old hat, but 9 is an interesting in that it is the only number when multiplied by any other will always come back to 9 when you add up the factors of the answer.Let me explain:9 x 1 = (9) 9 x 2 = (18). 18 is made up of 1 & 8. Add 1 & 8 and you get (9).9 x 3 = (27). 2+7=(9)9 x 4 = (36). 3+6=(9)9 x 5 = (45). 4+5=(9)9 x 6 = (54).…[Read more]

8 is an interesting number.Apparently if you add up the letters of Jesus name it comes to 888. The number system in the Greek is built into the alphabet. So Alpha = 1, Beta = 2…… Omega = 800.

How about 3God, Jesus and we who are redeemed. Yeshua said “just as I am one with the Father, I pray that they (us) would be one and one with us.So God, his son and the sons will be one in unity. Unity of the Spirit.
