Quote (Christofer @ July 13 2005,19:41)If I am judging – I am sorry – but the question still remains – why would a brother in Christ send someone to a denomination that began through a false prophecy? That's right. It would be a pretty bad start.

Quote (WhiteMateria @ July 12 2005,19:30)http://www.watchtower.org'Should you believe in the Trinity?''What does God require of us?'I'll give you a hint – They do not believe in the trinity and view Jesus Christ as 'a god'.Hi WhiteMateria, That is a bit of a silly thing to say. JWs believe that Jesus was Michael the Archangel. Scripture says that he/was…[Read more]

We know that the woman came from man and man came from God, but through Christ. As all things were created through Christ. God come from no one because he is not an image, rather the original.God > Christ > Man > WomanI even think woman means 'from man'.Here's the thing though. It says that in Christ there is no longer male or female. It also says…[Read more]

From what I can see (even ignoring that prophecy), is Joseph wanting to put his wife to be, away, because she was with child. But the angel told Joseph that the child was from God.Matthew's use of the scripture seems strange in that the scripture is talking about something else. But often we see that a physical thing/story/parable is used to…[Read more]

There are others and there will be more to come. Please realise that all can post. No one is taking that away. The discussions need to be protected once submitted, otherwise it is too easy for people to screw things up.

Quote (WhiteMateria @ July 10 2005,22:38)It has come to our attention that the editing function has been turned off in an effort to shut up those who believe any doctrine other than what the official admins here believe. To WhiteMateria, This is simply false. You can still post as you have and still have your say. No one is shutting you out, so…[Read more]

Quote (Guest @ July 11 2005,06:01)Then why not remove it for all. Why have a select few been chosen to retain their editing privileges? It's normal function for Admins and Moderators to have more priviledges. This is probably true in all forums. I trust the Admins and dedicated members here to not break the rules. If they do then they too are…[Read more]

Quote (Is 1:18 @ July 10 2005,22:53)You might be onto something WhiteMateria. I'm in the top 5 for total posts but have lost editing “privilages”. Apparently i dont fall within t8's definition of a “dedicated” member. Hmmm.A dedicated member is someone whom the Admins have come to trust. It's a bit hard to trust people who look for fault in you…[Read more]

That is not fair.Non editing keeps people honest. Sometimes you need to lay down rules to keep things as they should.I know that laws are made for sinners, but if everybody kept the writings without changing the message then it wouldn't need to be done. All this ranting about not ligning up with my view is unfair too. How does turning off editing,…[Read more]

Hi Dianalevich, I think that YHWH refers to the Father, but he deligates and send others to represent him. No one can see God, the only begotten son is the only one who can declare him. Let me know if you have anything to say or add here. Thanks for your post. Hopefully we will all discover truths together and be of one mind.

Yes that is an interesting one. It was discussed earlier in one of the forums here. I still do not have a concrete opinion with this.

To WhiteMateria, I use these verses because they are the truth. That God has a son and he expects us to obey and serve him, for in doing so, we do it to God.The son is the image of God and the first-born of/over all creation. He is like him and God has exhalted his son to sit with him on his throne to rule his creation. The son is visible and his…[Read more]

To WhiteMateria, I am surprised that you haven't figured it out yet. I believe Paul, John, and Jesus. I also believe that their teachings do not contradict scripture, in particular the places where men have supposed to have seen God. When you read on, many such accounts speak of the angel of the Lord. I readily agree that not all accounts have…[Read more]

Quote (WhiteMateria @ July 10 2005,01:40)Can a man have 2 masters? Can a man follow Jesus and YHWH?To WhiteMateria, To follow Jesus is to follow his God. To follow Moses was to follow God. Go ahead my friend. It's just that I have not found your points to be reasonable. I gave you a good reply, but instead of using scripture to point out any possible errors in my reply you just said 'rubbish', which is not going to convince me or anyone else here of what you are teaching.Show the error in my replies if you believe them to be error.…[Read more]

To WhiteMateria, How many saviors are there? How many gods are there? How many lords are there? Is there 1 God, yet it says: “there are many “gods” and many “lords”.1 Corinthians 8:5-6 (English-NIV)5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”),6 yet for us there is but one…[Read more]

To WhiteMateria, You seem to have lost the plot with your last post. I am not sure where you are coming from.
