Quote (Robyn † @ Aug. 17 2006,21:25)I see…You have great knowledge of the Holy bible. I have one more question. Which Church is the true Church of Jesus Christ?Hi Robyn †The true Church is the Body of Christ. The body is made up of many parts, but Jesus is the head of the true body. The Church is not of this world. It is not like a worldly organ…[Read more]

Quote (Robyn † @ Aug. 17 2006,21:17)Quote (heiscomingintheclouds @ Aug. 17 2006,02:06)Dear Robyn,Sister, forget what you have been taught. Denominational teachings are grounded on the words of men. There is only one faith, and that is the Word of God. Don't believe anything other then the Word of God. That is what is wrong with many of the chu…[Read more]

Hi Robyn †Quote Okay t8…you are correct. I cannot back up anything I am saying. I was just explaining my belief. So I will no longer do that.I have a question for you now. If there is only one God…why so many religions?Because men who would rather draw men to themselves rather than Christ have risen, even from among true believers.John 1…[Read more]

Quote (Robyn † @ Aug. 17 2006,21:05)You just have to accept the fact that God is a mystery and the the Holy Trinity is a mystery. To Robyn †If you want us to adhere to your words then prove your quoted statement above.

To Robyn †I have some advice for you Robyn, I give it to you in love. You should only teach that which you know can be backed up by scripture. You can be hypothetical, but not teach hypothesis as if it were scripture or truth.E.g., you can teach that Jesus is the son of God, because this is revealed to us. You can teach that Jesus died for our s…[Read more]

Yes if what you teach is correct. Then the scripture will back you up.Explain the reason for what you believe.2 Timothy 3:16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,1 Peter 3:15But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks…[Read more]

Yes the US is a candidate and a popular one too.If that was the case, then are those of the USA suppose to leave ASAP. What would happen if God says “come out of her” but you couldn't get residency in any other country?

I think most people here understand the Trinity doctrine, but they also understand that it is not taught in scripture. If God is a Trinity then why does scripture break when you replace the word “God” for “Trinity” in the bible.E.g. John 3:16″For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish…[Read more]

Frank4YAHWEHIt sounds to me like you said Jesus couldn't have said this because it doesn't agree with what you believe.Surely we should let scripture teach us rather than telling scripture what to say?In this scenario, scripture is the teacher and we are the students, not the other way round.

That is true.Denominations offer false hope. They are not the Church and never have been. The true Church has one head, Jesus Christ. Denominations have their own head. The Pope, a pastor, etc.Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. It is he who builds the true Church. Those who build other churches or in another name, build in vain. Those who…[Read more]

The Roman Catholic Church and all its rules will bind a man up. But the truth will set us free.I went to the Amazon a few years ago, and many of the tribes in the Colombian section were converted to Catholicism. But I learned that they gave up the Catholic faith and became Christians because they got sick of all the rules and regulations.I…[Read more]

To Robyn †, Quote (Robyn † @ Aug. 17 2006,13:04)Okay…we all have faults and are not perfect. God made us that way. Why would Jesus lie to use knowing that we would fail in his church in Matt 16:18?The gates of hell cannot prevail against the Church. The Church exists to this day as it did back in the first century. The Church isn't any denom…[Read more]

Rome is one of the heads of the beast and there have been many antichrists, but I would have thought that son of perdition was a person just as Judas Iscariot was.

Regarding the identity of Babylon, I don't think we know for sure who she is as it is a mystery.Revelation 17:5This title was written on her forehead: MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREATTHE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTESAND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.However there are a few strong candidates. But even if we cannot be sure of her identity, we can know in a…[Read more]

All men are wrong. All have fallen short of the glory of God.Not one of us is the truth.Jesus is the truth. We are to follow him, not men.Truth is confirmed in scripture. I would never say you are going to hell.I am saying that God will destroy Babylon and her influence. We as Christians are told to come out of her for our own good.If people leave this Board then that is OK.
