Quote (Is 1:18 @ Mar. 09 2007,03:33)What's more the NT also demonstrates the practical outworking of this unlimited “power”:Philippians 3:21Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. So this scripture you pointed out shows…[Read more]

Back to the original question:”Is this a scripturally sound church”.The answer is no.A scripturally sound Church is any part of the Body of Christ.E.g., The Church in Pergamon are those that belong to God that reside in that city. The Church in Pricilla and Aquilla's house are those that belong to the universal church that reside in that house. So…[Read more]

Why weren't the earliest Christians called “Jehovah Witnesses”?OK that is another thread. Also is it in the bible that Christians were against birthdays?I can't say that I have read that one if it is.Or is it written elsewhere?Thx

Hi toteachachild.I haven't been following this particular thread, but I know that anything that is not of faith is sin.I guess that Yeshua did all things in faith. The reason we sin is because of our nature. Our nature cannot please God, but we can please God when we have faith.

KAs for the rest of your post, you seem to be coming from a position of hurt. You seem all worked up about something.Do you have a problem with me, or is it a problem in general?

Quote (kenrch @ Mar. 09 2007,00:22)When given truth, SCRIPITURAL truth. It is pounded by easy to see twisted scripture and lots of empty words. Rather than an honest attempt to test what was given it is imediately dismissed because it is not the Trinity doctrine. Nothing new is taught here nothing. One brother pointed me in the correct…[Read more]

Quote (kenrch @ Mar. 09 2007,00:22)Say what? You haven't really looked into it. So you really don't know if it is truth. But yet you offer it as something you recently learned. Then what did you learn?Hi K.I learned that the title seems to be applied to YHWH and I need to verify if this is the case.

Hi Kenrch. When I first came here I had a lot of conviction, but not a lot of scripture to show if they were true.Today I have more than enough scriptures in my understanding that sync with that which is in my heart. This website has been a good vehicle for giving answers to that which I believe and it has also aptly demonstrated the incredible…[Read more]

Quote (kenrch @ Mar. 06 2007,23:08)No one on this site wants to be one in Christ. I have seen the Holy Spirit quenched, stoped cold in the tracks for no reason other than it seems just to stop Him. I dare say if everyone were one it would be a bore. No one would be arguing and God forbid everyone agree on the Trinity or most anything else. This…[Read more]

and we are the children of God so calling God, 'Father' is appropriate.Romans 8:15For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”Galatians 4:6Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba,…[Read more]

That is my guess too.I do not oppose him on some things that he believes if they are not absolutes or if what he teaches is correct. But I oppose him on his denominationalism/cultist thinking and I think it is dishonest to have a recruitment program for a denomination or cult as the real reason for teaching and preaching here.If a person is not…[Read more]

david. You can replace anybodies name in a sentence where there is mention of a denomination but that proves nothing.E.g., JWs say Jesus came as a man.Bob says that Jesus came as a man.Is Bob a denomination? No he is a person who believes that Jesus came as a man.david I think you are clutching at straws. The point is that we are only trying to…[Read more]

I would also like to add the following:Q: How do believers attain unity?A: By being one with Christ. If we are one with Christ, then we will be one with all others who are one with Christ. It's not like we even have to try for unity because the head of the body is Christ. It is a consequence of being one with Christ. All attempts at unity by…[Read more]

That is my thinking too.By promoting the sins of others and then saying I don't do this, can make a person or organisation look good. But as I have mentioned before sheep look very clean and pure until it snows. Then their fleeces look like filthy rags.Of course the other thing is that the devil has a cult/denomination for all kinds of beliefs. He…[Read more]

Hi Phoenix.I suppose that you could already know this, but for the sake of anyone who reads here, I say the following:Q: Which group should a believer support?A: The Body of Christ/ChurchWe support the body by being one with the head of that body.Q: Can a toe tell a finger to move?A: Not directlyDoes not the head give the commands?
