Hi TimothyVI.Paul gave us these words 2000 or so years ago.2 Corinthians 11:3But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. Matthew 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offenses! for it must needs be that offenses come; but woe to that man by…[Read more]

Hi Kyle.I totally respect your stance Kyle.May you find what you seek my friend. I guess the best thing to do regarding your search is participate in the threads that are related to your search and create new ones if there are none. The Trinity thread is the most popular one in the board and you could have your say there too. I take it that…[Read more]

Quote (kenrch @ Mar. 09 2007,18:43)“I can assure you K that it is not planned”.”Not planned but does happen?”
In that case you may have to look at the possibility that if I didn't plan it (and yet it happened), then maybe if I was acting in obedience to the Spirit of God, who planned it himself.I don't know K. I am just being honest and saying…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Seventh Day Adventists. in the forum Truth or Tradition 19 years, 7 months ago

Quote (WorshippingJesus @ Mar. 09 2007,18:57)Ludicrous! Show me a scripture that says Jesus was a Son before his incarnation and I will believe you.I hear this one all the time.It makes no difference as far as the Trinity doctrine goes does it? Even if Christ become a son 2000 or so years ago, it doesn't in any way prove a Trinity.Yeshua was the…[Read more]

Luke 22:69But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God.”NOTE: From now on.So this verse alone shows us that he is not God now. Rather he is seated at his right hand. That verse takes care of the present and future.

Quote (kenrch @ Mar. 09 2007,08:22)It's frustrating putting up with people who have absolutely no scriptural proof and their spirit lies to them then they use empty words to try and justfy their doctrine of devils. The best thing to do in the situation is give your teaching and back it up with scripture. If people argue against it, then who's…[Read more]

In short a true believer is not one who belongs to the right denomination or cult, but one who belongs to Christ and his body.A true believer believes that Yeshua is the Messiah and son of God/YHWH. A true believer is baptised into Christ and repents of his sin. A true believer is connected to God (who is Spirit) by our spirit. A true believer…[Read more]

OK dave that is good to hear.My experience with those who are dedicated to a denomination or cult is that all they really want from you is to join that organisation. But if you are different, then I welcome that.Let us reason together my friend.Regarding your last point. When we follow Christ that means that we hear his voice and respond in…[Read more]

No one can see God and no one has seen God and Jesus is the image of the invisible God.That is what scripture says.If you can go against scripture with another understanding then what can I say? Even false religions do that. Clever perhaps, but true, no way.

Good and notice that it calls him God and that no one has seen God. In other verses it says the Father.Of course this is what we have been saying all along. It also says that God spoke to Moses but THROUGH an angle/messenger.If you understand this then scripture isn't contradicting itself. If you say that Moses saw God (not though his messenger)…[Read more]

First off the bat Is 1:18, it is not I who says that no one can see God, it is scripture.Second off the bat, what people saw must have been a messenger of God such as an angel, perhaps even Yeshua.Third off the bat, it is even written that Moses saw an angel and yet is it also written that he saw God.Exodus 3:2There the angel of the LORD appeared…[Read more]
