Hi kejonn.Quote It amazing how some people must ignore context to support their doctrines. When you are brainwashed or have bias, then everything is distorted. It is often called delusional. I have met people who are biased toward other races or sexes and their judgements in these matters are indeed unbalanced. It is no different with scripture.

True kejonn.People who focus on cults cannot be focusing on God and his son. It stands to reason. I have met a fair few people like this and the one's I have met, think that demons will latch onto if you go anywhere that demons are. In other words they give the kingdom of darkness too much power. But if we are the light of the world, then what fear…[Read more]

Amen to that Nick. Not amen to CB, but I expect that certain men who come here will continue in their mission to undermine us. However the Pharisees opposition to Jesus Christ didn't stop him from fulfilling his purpose.I have been thinking lately that there will come a time when debating with these guys comes to an end. They opposed us in just…[Read more]

Thanks for the scripture. It spoke to me regarding a vision I received once. But that is another story. Once again, thanks.

Good post Nick. Quite thorough too. When I think of water it is like the physical representation of spirit.Spirit/breath gives life and all physical life needs water. We have rivers on earth and proceeding out from the throne of God is the River of Life. I couldn't imagine this river having physical water and we know that spirit brings life. Think…[Read more]

Sure.God is in Jesus and Jesus is in God and we are in God and Jesus.God is Spirit and we have spirits. We know that this union is not physical, so it must be spiritual. But I think that many get confused with God being in Jesus and vice versa. They think this somehow makes God and Jesus the same being. But we can be one with them too.Romans…[Read more]

Quote (Is 1:18 @ July 18 2007,17:34)I will address this post point by point, but I want clarification on something first. When we read “Spirit of Christ” (or a synonym) in the NT should we understand this to mean Yeshua's personal Spirit?Thanks.Correct. And that is how Jesus is one with God and how we can be one with God and Jesus.Spirit like water…[Read more]

Hey CultB.Come out of her.The Trinity is a Babylonian doctrine.Come out of the cult.
Proclaimer replied to the topic Trinity – t8's proof text #3 in the forum Debates 19 years, 3 months ago
Is that you CultB?Whatever you do, don't answer “I am”. Think about your answer CultB. Be very careful.Actually I bet I could find in one of your posts somewhere where you said “I am” regarding yourself. If no, I bet you have said “I am” at sometime in your life. By your own wisdom, that makes you God.

Is CultB up to his old tricks and pasting the same thing into multiple discussions?

Hi Cult Buster.Sons are called 'elohim' and 'theos' too and yes Jesus is Mighty. That shatters your theory somewhat.

It wasn't just Ignatius who spoke like this, there were also many of the other pre-nicene writers too. These all sing the same tune that Jesus isn't the Most High God and that he was begotten as the son and even begotten as the Word before that. They say things like Jesus is second after God and was the first work of the Father.Clement (ca 85…[Read more]

It's an interesting conversation. But I guess I would like to ask if Elijah died.He was taken up in a chariot and he also appeared with Moses in the transfiguration. I think it is written that Moses died however. Then we have the verse that says that all the graves were open when Christ rose and we are also taught that when we are away from the…[Read more]
