Stu.If you can explain how nothing, (absolute nothing) can create something, then I am all ears. Otherwise you have nothing useful to offer regarding your belief that nothing created the universe.I think that is fair.Let's start from here. If you can answer that, then we can move onto the other stuff. If you cannot, then you are just wasting…[Read more]

Quote (seekingtruth @ Sep. 24 2007,12:39)T8,I agree, rightly has scripture said “Do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.”I believe our responsibility ends with presenting truth and to continue “arguing” only plays into the hardhearted's hands. We can no more “prove”…[Read more]

Stu is blind, it is as simple as that.I was blind once too, and I know how dark the darkness is.If he rejects the light, then he will never see correctly as to ascertain the truth. It is as simple as that, and I personally wouldn't waste too much time on him. Our energy would be better spent helping those who actually want the truth.Romans…[Read more]

I haven't answered everything because I am resisting you pushing me away from scripture. I am sticking to scripture and everything else I hold outside of that is just an opinion that cannot be proven. In addition to that, I don't know everything and haven't claimed to know everything.I have given you what I believe from scripture and that should be…[Read more]

I understand the 3 days and nights, but I don't have an opinion as to what days and timezone etc. I don't advocate Sunday as Sabbath or the day he rose etc.I try to keep away from the traditions of men.But that is another topic. This one is actually about John 17:3Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus…[Read more]

Quote Alright t8. Show us this is true – from the context of the Revelation passage. Can you also list some scriptures that give credence to your position that there is a kind of honour/worship that is appropriate for Yeshua, and this differs from the kind that only YHWH can legitimately recieve? First off, Jesus is at God's right hand side. Then…[Read more]

Quote (Is 1:18 @ Sep. 22 2007,12:27)Yeshua is both “the Son of man” and “man”, what do you make of that t8? Seems like there's a Hebraic nuance to consider here….A Hebraic nuance to consider here for yourself is that we are men, and we are sons of God.Are we Yahweh? No.Now Jesus is a man and the son of God. Is he Yahweh? No.

He is the son of man and the son of God. It's not too hard to grasp.

Quote (Is 1:18 @ Sep. 22 2007,12:21)In what sense is Yeshua the Son of God? Please be specific. He was born of God.He came from God.He is of God.He wasn't exclusively created like we are. We were created by God through Christ. Christ was begotten/born of God.God is his Father.

That is a loaded question coming from you. If I say yes, I am condemned and if I say no I am condemned. So I will say it like this, so you cannot take my words out of context.”There is not one who is referred to as “theos” and “elohim”. “You can check that out in scripture for yourself.”But there is only one “theos” and “elohim” who is above all…[Read more]

Excluding the Word of God, but even that is open to interpretation, give me 3 verses that say Jesus is Theos referring to divinity.I am not saying that they don't exist, but I want to work with those 3 scriptures.I won't write an essay, but just to make some comparision with “theos” and “elohim” when used of men and angel.

Quote (Is 1:18 @ Sep. 22 2007,11:32)Yes, but you also argue that men will one day be divine and I'm pretty sure you have used this verse in John to support that.I say that we can partake in divine nature.Whether that actually makes us divine is not is open to discussion.I wouldn't be surprised however. After all eye has not seen and ear has not…[Read more]

That is not the argument I am making here. It is simply that the word “theos” was ascribed to them and it says “sons of the Most High”. So saying that Jesus is God Almighty because “theos” is ascribed to him doesn't prove that he is God, because “theos” is used in reference to sons and angels too.I have said all along that the words “theos” and…[Read more]

Jesus said “You are theos”.He said it.In Psalms it says, you are theos, you are sons…It's kind of silly to pretend that Jesus never said it and that it doesn't say “sons of the Most High” in the verse he quoted. And we will be like Jesus. He will call us brethren/brothers. So if Jesus were the Almighty and then he calls us brothers, then that…[Read more]
