Quote (Towshab @ Oct. 29 2007,15:36)I just have to ask this: if the gospels were eyewitness accounts why were they written so many years after Jesus supposed death? Why not immediately while the events were fresh?Let me ask you, would you wait 30-40 years to try to recount something in your life? How old are you? How much detail would you remember…[Read more]

Quote (Towshab @ Oct. 29 2007,15:36)Then you do not believe that the Christian bible is inerrent and inspired? What part is to be trusted then if there are that many discrepancies?Towshab it is self explanatory. Many books give the method that the books came about. You don't need to ask me, just go to each book and read for yourself as I said. You…[Read more]

But even then, the negative ones could also apply in many cases. Jesus died along with criminals. He became a curse on our behalf so we could escape the curse of the law. He became something he was not, so that we could become something we were not.BTW, there are Morning Stars (plural). He is THE Morning Star.Likewise there are many lords, but he…[Read more]

Looks like a 2 pronged attack. The Trinitarians are back and the Unitarians are going hard over on the preexistence discussion.OK, we need some reinforcements.Or maybe the Trinitarians and the Unitarians could battle it out for a while, so as to tire each other out. And those who trust in God, not man, who are not swayed by man's doctrines could…[Read more]

Thanks for your post What Counts. The first thing that should stick out to any questioning person is why this so-called foundational doctrine is never taught in scripture. Jesus, Paul, Peter, or John, never mentioned it. The Old Testament never mentions it either and hence why the Jews will never embrace it.If the Bereans heard this doctrine, they…[Read more]
