I agree that it is deception.I also think that a lot of innocent people are caught up in the doctrine, and the teachers will be accountable for what they have taught.I think of myself. I was brought up to believe in the Trinity, when I fist became a believer. But after a while, something in me just knew that something about that doctrine wasn't…[Read more]

Quote (Gene Balthrop @ May 27 2008,15:12)T8 and Nick…….I heard someone say that the book of revelation is purely symbolic. Where it says in chapter 1:1 , He sent and (signified) it. Means he sent and (SYMBOLIZED) it. In other words the book can only be understood from a symbolic form, I kind of think He may be right, that is also Sir Issac N…[Read more]

Quote (Nick Hassan @ May 27 2008,14:45)Hi t8, Good point. But it could be for 1000 years or more could it not?The false prophet and the beast were still there when the devil joined them 1000 years later.I agree. From what I understand, the new heavens and earth is after the 1000 years.

WJ.You teach that we should worship 3 persons as God.I teach that we should worship one God the Father. So you teach that there are three and I teach that there is one (God who is the Father). And then you call me a Polytheist. Can you see the irony. What are you going to do about the log?

Eternal torment requires that one have eternal life. But the wicked will perish. The wicked will be destroyed.John 3:16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

An example of polytheism is acceptance of a 3 person God.When we talk to a being we address the identity of the person. We don't often say “hello human”, “hello man”, hello woman”. No we say “hello Bill”, “hello Jill”, “Dear Father”.So praying to a 3 person God should use language like “how are all of you”, “I love you all”, “Dear Father Son and…[Read more]
