Quote (Gene Balthrop @ June 02 2008,13:26)So you still haven't given any benefit to man kind by him being a preexistent super being that created the whole world has it. And thats my point why would God do that, something that doesn't really RELATE TO US. What does that show us then when we are no where able to be like Him then because he is so…[Read more]
Proclaimer replied to the topic in the forum Is baptism needed for salvation? 18 years, 5 months ago
I was told of some people that use sand for baptism because they don't have enough water to cover a person. Could be an urban myth, but surely in times of drought when there is no water, there must be occasion where there just isn't a big enough pool of water to be immersed in. And even if there was, it could be someone elses drinking water.

gollamudi. Jesus is a mystery that has been revealed in these times. So being a mystery, we do not have whole texts that say in detail what happened before creation. In fact we are purposely not told many things regarding details on the rebellion, details on what creation was like before sin, etc. What we are given is that he existed with divine…[Read more]

Some say that Jesus is a man only and was created as a man and didn't exist before that.Others say that he is almighty God who became a man.But what does scripture say: He existed with divine nature and emptied/humbled himself and took on the nature of a servant and partook of flesh. He then returned to the glory that he had with the Father before…[Read more]

Quote (Stu @ June 01 2008,00:12)Yes, except that the ‘universes (sic) design’ part is wrong.Of course. If I made a model of the solar system, then it would be incorrect to say that it was designed or that it had design.

If we get wings, I would probably go a bit crazy with flying till the novelty wore off. Or maybe we will just be able to go from A to B at the speed of thought. God knows, but I know that what he has waiting for us is beyond anything we can imagine and that he is good.
