For example, a flat earther named Eric Dubay was scheduled to do a debate with Neil DeGrasse Tyson on the Joe Rogan Experience. At the last minute, Tyson bailed. Of course he wouldn’t have bailed if the debate was against a nut job who knows the earth is flat because an alien from “inner-Earth” told him it was, right?
I disagree. Debatin…[Read more]

As I have said before. This topic is done and dusted. It has been proved beyond all reasonable doubt that the Book of Daniel considers the Medes and the Persians as a kingdom united or as an alliance. The symbols show us this clearly. The fact that each might be addressed separately here and there does not negate this fact one bit. We see a…[Read more]

Hi Proclaimer, so you can not come out of this great dilemma of second kingdom the Medo-Persia, a single kingdom? But the writer of Daniel clearly distinguished the kingdoms of Media and Persia in his book as per Dan 5:
I cannot come out of the truth. Calling it a dilemma is your own biased opinion. Scripture is clear, that in multiple examples,…[Read more]

Medo-Persian Alliance
Daniel 7:5
And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh
We know from the statue prophecy of Daniel 2 and from history that the Medo-Persian Empire would rise…[Read more]

Well, I think this topic has finished. From a biblical perspective, the Medes and Persians were the next kingdom in the statue. They are also the second beast, the bear with two uneven sides.

This is a trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him; if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us;

Medes and the Persians
You are that head of gold. “After you, another kingdom will arise, inferior to yours.TEKEL means that you have been weighed on the scales and found deficient. PERES means that your kingdom has been divided and given over to the Medes and Persians.
So the next kingdom is clearly the Medes and Persians. Thus, Daniel may…[Read more]

Thanks for posting that theory. I don’t think this interpretation is likely. But I’m not writing it off either.
It immediately comes into a problem by ignoring what is written in the book initially where the Medes and Persians are one kingdom. That is, The Kingdom of the Medes and Persians.

You people are sticking to age old traditional interpretations of Daniel which allegedly claimed Rome as the fourth kingdom by taking Medo-Persia as one kingdom. But the writer himself was clear about what he was narrating in his book on the so called four kingdoms which he could name them clearly (viz Babylon, Media, Persia and Greee) in his t…

Hi Proclaimer I know you can not come out of your seven world empires dilemma starting from Egypt. Even if you consider the heads as kingdoms equating with Daniel’ s four kingdoms, the first one can not be Egypt. It should be Babylon as per Daniel. So your seventh kingdom can not be Ottoman which you repeatedly quote here.
So far, your rebuttals o…[Read more]

It’s simple for me. Daniel focuses on 4 empires and possibly 5 or a second stage of the fourth where the feet, not legs, are iron is mixed with clay. He starts with Babylon because the dream is given to the king of Babylon.
Revelation focuses on the whole beast around the Great Sea. The seven heads match seven empires on sucession. Yes there is…[Read more]

Dan 10: 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia opposed me twenty-one days. So Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, and I left him there with the prince of the kingdom of Persia,

History tells us that Cyrus (the Perse)is the one that conquered Babylon. Darius the Mede, an older man, was the uncle of Cyrus, and he put Darius in charge of Babylon after he conquered it. Darius the Mede is the one that was tricked into having Daniel thrown into the lion’s den. He was the king of Babylon, but he wasn’t the king of the ent…
