Many of those scriptures I quoted speak of pre-existence at face value. Unless they are translated incorrectly or don't really mean what they say, then I cannot in good conscience just write them off with logic that is offered to me outside of scripture. You also have the following difficulty if Jesus didn't have glory with the Father before the…[Read more]

Gene. The Logos is identified by using the definite article in every instance in John 1:1. If an attribute or qualification was being sought, why use the definite article which is also applied to God, except in John 1:1c.A second witness to the Logos being Christ is that the Logos was WITH God.The third witness is that the Logos became flesh and we…[Read more]

Quote (kejonn @ April 07 2009,01:42)Again, no one here is trying to disprove God. It is basically impossible to prove or disprove a deity.KJ.So you do not know if there is a God or not, yet you are willing to persecute YHWH and Yeshua. Isn't that at least a bit reckless? Welcome Tim. One question. Why is this discussion in the prophecy section?Shall I move it to the “Messages” forum. The description for discussions in the “Messages” forum is “Personal prophecies, teachings, revelations, messages, apologies, etc.”

Hi Tim. Yes we are all given the pnemua which makes us live.I wonder if other species are also given it because they too live including plants? But we can be born from above. I wouldn't be surprised to be honest. God does things way beyond our comprehension. Who is to say that creation comprises of a single universe with hundreds of billion galaxies that have hundreds of billions of stars each. There are probably multiple levels of heaven(s).

A more simpler way to look at it Kerwin, is that by saying that Jesus is the image of God, you are saying that he is not the source, but that he is the reflection of that source.
