The next time you are mugged in a dark alley, ask the attacker if they will kill you if you don't give them your money. If they answer “yes”, then ask them if they have a strong faith in God. My guess is they would probably say no. What do others think this mugger's answer would be.Yes or no.

If New Zealand got warmer it might curb some from moving to Australia. About 10% of kiwis live in Australia.

Canada will benefit from a sea passage (that competes with the Panama Canal) opening up for a longer part of the year. I saw a news article on it and the US wanted control of it.

Source: http://www2.ljworld.com/weblogs….-part-1A common theme in science fiction involves a highly advanced society in which people no longer understand the basis of science and technology. In such societies science is often just a series of beliefs that are to be accepted without question like in a religion. The Star Trek episode “Spock's…[Read more]

Quote (Stu @ April 10 2010,10:56)What is an evolutionist? Is it a biologist who uses the theory of evolution by natural selection as a tool in his everyday work, in the same way an accountant uses a calculator? You poor thing. It is a man who believes a certain theory as to the origin of species. It is not a tool, but a theory. People can choose to…[Read more]

1 Corinthians 8:5-65 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), 6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.Amen.

Quote (WorshippingJesus @ April 10 2010,05:23)Then Moses and the Patriarchs were liars! The only way to reconcile the scriptures on this is that no man can see the “unappoachable light” that he dwells in.Or did you over look that in 1 Tim 6:15, and 16.Paul is talking about the “unapproachable light” that man cannot see, or God in all of his Glory…[Read more]

Quote (thethinker @ Feb. 11 2010,02:55)The Father also CLEARLY refers to His Son as God (Hebrews 1:8). Do you put as much stock in the Father's testimony as you do in the testimony of Jesus? There is uncertainty as to the precise translation of this verse. Two possibilities exist:”Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever” “God is thy throne for ever…[Read more]

Quote (Stu @ Mar. 05 2010,15:46)Scientific dissent should be taught. However in practice that limits it to legitimate criticism of global warming, because while any theory should front up honestly to contradictory evidence, there has been no scientific contradiction of evolution by natural selection.Ha ha. A perfect example of blind faith in action.
