Quote (WorshippingJesus @ May 26 2010,09:15)No I am not trying to convince you anything. Your mind is made up. I could say you are proud and unteachable but I won't because that is a tactic that has no use IMO.Yes you will not convince me of anything until you can demonstrate it in scripture. Quote (WorshippingJesus @ May 26 2010,09:09)Will we ever be like that t8?Ah hah. Again WJ, you display your ignorance about nature and identity. Jesus and us are sons. But because of WHO Jesus is, he is greater in every way to us. After all he is the bridegroom and we are the bride. And that begs the question, does a bridegroom ever ask another…[Read more]

In other words WJ, you are really trying to convince us that there is NOT one God the Father, and there is NOT one Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ. That is it in a nutshell isn't it.Yet Paul said for US, there is one God the Father and one Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ. You are preaching the opposite and trying to convince us to deny what Paul wrote.I…[Read more]

Yes I understand what JA is saying now.You guys just ignore what you want to ignore and hone in on stuff where you think you have a defense. That is not the hallmarks of a truth seeker.

Quote (WorshippingJesus @ May 26 2010,08:49)If we are going to be the same kind which is man created in the image of God, then that means that Jesus is merely a man!Jesus existed in the form of God, emptied himself and partook of flesh. He then returned to the glory that he had in the beginning. For us, we are born flesh, and then we receive a new…[Read more]

Quote (WorshippingJesus @ May 26 2010,08:16)The problem is Jesus is not like every one else. Some thing to consider.Matthew 28:19 (English-NIV)Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,In the name of something refers to the authority of something. Fair enough. But when valid points are made and then ontology becomes the last line of defense, then I immediately wonder why scripture is not good enough to stand on its own. It appears from scripture that we can partake in divine nature and it is not a stretch to believe that Jesus has divine nature, (he existed in the form of God after all).…[Read more]

Quote (JustAskin @ May 26 2010,07:22)WJ, what is Ontology – it too big a word for me this time of night in UK?It's a word that Trinitarians sometimes resort to when they can't argue their position from scripture. Yes, I am tending to think that it would be best to offer it as a sort of home page for members that can be linked to from their profile. It would be up to each member that wanted to participate to have feedback from others or to close their page from replies.

How long is hell in existence?Until it is thrown into the Lake of Fire. The same fire that will burn all the elements will consume the wicked.

Yes there is always the risk that this could get ugly. But there is also the risk that iron sharpens iron. I myself am not afraid to be scrutinized by others. I prefer to have my judgement now rather than later, so I am not afraid of what others might say about me. I want to hear what they have to say. I just need the wisdom to know which voices…[Read more]

The only problem I can see with that is there is no feature that allows one member to exclusively edit a topic. The most that can be done is a group being able to post in a forum. e.g., believers in Believers Place. I can't drill down the permissions any narrower than that.Unless a member requests for their topic to be open again for the purposes…[Read more]
