Quote “There was; then, a Word importing an unbeginning eternity; asalso the Word itself, that is, the Son of God, who being, by equalityof substance, one with the Father, is eternal and uncreate.” These early church fathers often speak of the logos as an attribute ofGod and also as the Word himself, Christ. So it could just be a lack of…[Read more]

Jesus preached to the dead. What dead? And how do you preach to those who are turned off so to speak?1 Peter 3:18-2018 For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, 19 through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison 20 who…[Read more]

An atheist was taking a walk through the woods, admiring all that evolution had created.“What majestic trees! What powerful rivers! What beautiful animals!”, he said to himself. As he was walking along the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. When he turned to see what the casue was, he saw a 7-foot grizzly charging right tow…[Read more]

A young lady came home from a date, rather sad. She told her mother, “Jeff proposed to me an hour ago.”“Then why are you so sad?” her mother asked.“Because he also told me he was an atheist. Mom, he doesn’t even believe there’s a hell.”Her mother replied, “Marry him anyway. Between the two of us, we’ll show him how wrong he is.”

When I was involved in the Trinitarian system, I use to hear prayers in denominational churches where people prayed to God, the Father, Jesus, The Spirit, all in the same prayer. It just shows how uneducated many believers are to their own faith and this practice continues to this day.

Quote (davidbfun @ Aug. 17 2010,01:49)He (God) doesn't have a body.” I disagree. As you know God (Elohim) has two essences, male and female. The Female is spirit and doesn't have a body, but I think your statement was referring to YHWH Elohim who does have a body and we “see” it appearing in Genesis 3:8ffThis is a hurried post, so won't be…[Read more]

There was a man/alien called martian. He wrote this in the 2010s.He said that Jesus started his existence not in the form of God and emptying himself and coming in the form of man, but as a man who was created in the womb of Mary alone. He didn't think that the definite articles in Greek had any significance in John 1:1.He said this with authority…[Read more]

Here is Origens take on John 1:1.It is said that he knew the languages of his day (late 100s – early 200s) quite well.He wrote this before the Trinity Doctrine was invented, or at least before it was established as a major doctrine with the backing of the Roman Emperor.“We next notice John's use of the article in these sentences. God is not made in the image of man. God made man, male and female and in his image. Perhaps you are imposing the physical form onto God? The physical body is the flesh, and it is not really applicable to God as he is spirit. He is not a man, doesn't have a body, and he is not finite.I know man is fallen ,but i think it is fair to say that there…[Read more]

An even simpler explanation for you that I have written many times.God is theos in identity and nature.Jesus is theos in nature or quality, but not in identity. In other words, Jesus is not God himself. The Father is the only one WHO is God.Now, I can call God HE and HIM.By definition of your doctrine you cannot, without breaking grammar.Your God is…[Read more]

Sorry WJ.But scripture uses theos and elohim to describe, God, Jesus, Man, Angel, Satan, Idol.So I am just acknowledging that, whereas, you take 2 of them (and the Spirit) and make them one God in substance and relegate all the others as false gods, including those sitting on Moses seat and angels.I face up to the reality of how scripture uses…[Read more]
