Yeah Kerwin. Why pretend that all those scriptures do not mean what they say?Why pretend that all these scriptures mean the opposite of what they say?Why pretend that the context is wrong?I don't see the point in all that pretending. When I signed up to serve God, I did so with the attitude that I was a disciple of truth and not the master. What…[Read more]

Stu, we are all ears. How do you get something from nothing. How does nothing acting on nothing produce something. Please enlighten us.Shall I hold my breath?

He would say that WHY is irrelevant which is what I did when I myself was in darkness. I was an Atheist and I thought that WHY was irrelevant. Why ask WHY? Although that is a WHY question.I gave Stu the analogy of a cake. Science can explain that it contains flour, baking powder, egg, and sugar, and it was heated for 45 minutes at a certain…[Read more]

OK, Stu, I can see you are having problems again.I will try and come up with a strategy that might help.Would simpler terms be easier to comprehend? How can I help you see that nothing is not an option as being the initiator of all things. Most people if they are honest get that, but I am not sure what the block is.Do you have problems…[Read more]

BTW Stu. You don't need to quote a post if you are replying to the last post. It actually makes the conversation harder to follow when people quote all the time.

Stu, you believe in nothing. And nothing acted on that nothing, and created everything. Then these bits of everything self-organised into dinosaurs, galaxies, suns, planets, and bananas. That is your belief plain and simple. Please tell me which part of this is not correct and I will show you how you differ with Atheism.BTW, this post posted…[Read more]

Quote (Stu @ Oct. 19 2010,21:09)When you can tell me what the falsifiable, evidence-based Theory of Divine Creation is then you will earn credibility.Ha ha ha.An eternal Spirit doesn't fit in a test tube Stu.Use your intellect to try and think what conclusion you would draw if NASA photographed a house on Mars. By its very design, you would assume…[Read more]

Quote (Stu @ Oct. 19 2010,20:48)“Nothing can do nothing” is a sophisticated logical fallacy. I think it is equivocation by the fallacy of misplaced concretion. Are you defending that idea that nothing can do something by using a few big words in the hope that you come across as intelligent?Excuse me while I laugh.Ha ha!

Here is a joke that I posted elsewhere but thought that it belonged here too.Notice that this joke is actually what Atheists take as serious.Perhaps they lack a sense of humor?

Here's one. Did you know that when the hands on a watch appear to have stopped, that it might not be broken. You need to first see if you are travelling at the speed of light. If not, then the most likely cause is a flat battery or a broken cog if it is a windup.

Of course that same watch didn't have a watchmaker. No it just appeared in time without a hand in less than a second. No I am not trying to wind anyone up either, so no need to be alarmed.

Quote (Stu @ Oct. 19 2010,20:32)You have failed to spot the flaw in this. I won because you are now convinced of my argument.Yes you won Stu. There is a creator. You have made progress. Now try and tackle the larger universe. Try and think logically as to how it could have happened. Remember this, nothing can do nothing. And bits of everything…[Read more]

Yes Stu, when the universe just appeared, you can bet your last five bucks that it didn't come out of nothing. If that were possible then we could create all manner of things out of nothing. As it stands, everything we make is really a transformation of something or somethings that already exist and you can take that all the way back to a creator…[Read more]

Here is your faith Stu.This is the fairytale you espouse in the place of God.It sounds like magic to me Stu.Did you know that magic is really a whole bunch of pulleys, ropes, and deception.Believing that Nothing acted on nothing and made everything is magic in the most extreme. The deceptive part is that nothing can…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Digital Atheists vs digital Creationists in the forum Creation & Science 16 years ago
Any chance of getting some smarter Atheists to join Stu? Do you know of any? I need a better caliber of opponent, otherwise I might be in danger of becoming complacent.BTW, I am not bragging that I am better than you at debates, but that you lost because you are trying to defend a lie.
