Here's one. Did you know that when the hands on a watch appear to have stopped, that it might not be broken. You need to first see if you are travelling at the speed of light. If not, then the most likely cause is a flat battery or a broken cog if it is a windup.

Of course that same watch didn't have a watchmaker. No it just appeared in time without a hand in less than a second. No I am not trying to wind anyone up either, so no need to be alarmed.
