John 6:38-40 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me; and this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up at the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the Son and believes in him should have eternal life;…[Read more]

Hi JA. There is always reward for works. We have salvation and we can have reward on top of that.I suspect that as it is written that we go from glory to glory, so it is with Christ. This fits with God the Father being the only one that knows all things.

If you think that Christ should not be a mystery to the Jews and all others then think again.Ephesians 3:4In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,Romans 16:25Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the…[Read more]

Quote (Stu @ Nov. 01 2010,17:26)So will you withdraw the accusation that I criticised you for using Wikipedia in the manner I used it?Thanks.StuartAre you denying this outright?Because if you were, then I can understand you wanting me to withdraw. If not, then why withdraw something that could be true? Surely it is OK to say that I remember…[Read more]

Read this text carefully.John 8:56-5856 Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.” 57 “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!” 58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”Clearly the pretext is talking about Jesus only being 5…[Read more]

Quote (gollamudi @ Nov. 21 2010,03:16)Today I agree that N.T talks about Jesus' preexistence in different ways. But I am oriented towards Jewish Monotheism and I find preexistence hard to fit in its doctrine. No Jew would agree with Christian ideas of preexistence of Messiah. They don't agree with Christian god-man who came down from heaven in a…[Read more]

Science can? And yet it proves itself wrong time and time again. Measurements are adjusted, facts are changed, new evidence screws up current theories, new ideas are laughed at and then accepted.Yeah Stu, Science knows the difference.Another incorrect post by Stu. Lost count of them now.

The universe demands a creator that is the difference. Similarly, a murder scene demands a murderer? What demands are there for fairies? None.Case closed. But for the sake of opening the case, feel free to forward the compelling evidence.

Quote (Baker @ Nov. 16 2010,07:33)TimYou're wrong, I don't have to fight at all, I know how I can have my sins forgiven, while yours are not, because, you believe you do not sin; that is contrary to scripture. Denying scripture is not what cleanses you from your sins, it is the blood of Christ, he is the one who died in your stead, for your…[Read more]

BTW Stu, your forefathers (unbelievers or scripturally uneducated) were the ones that believed the world was suspended on a tortoise shell. They obviously rejected scripture because scripture contradicted such popular myths.Scripture also talks about hygiene, washing, and cleaning thousands of years before the ancients discovered the benefits of…[Read more]

Quote (Stu @ Nov. 19 2010,16:04)Humans have certainly got a lot wrong in the past, and much of what we think we know is probably wrong today. Big Bang cosmology has a pretty good track record relatively speaking, and Darwin has been right for 150 years.According to your faith. And it wouldn't be the first time that scientists have been wrong. But…[Read more]

Stu you repeat the common fallacy that because men do not know who God is that this some how makes him not exist. That is like saying that detectives who argue over who Jack the Ripper really was, somehow makes him non-existence.As long as you repeat this fallacy, then we can rest easy knowing that this is ultimately what your last word on the…[Read more]

So long as you are happy to be that fool, then at least you have some temporal happiness, even if your conclusions are foolish.Temporal happiness is better than no happiness at all.But reality does has a way of waking people up from their dream world.
