Your denominational dogmas prevent you from seeing the wood for the trees.
No doubt the evil one can’t work his mischief beyond the bounds set by God as Job 1-3 shows.
He has the power to bring disasters and injury and illness and even has the power of death as Heb 2.14 makes plain.
