When he was born in the City of David, he was the saviour and the Christ.
He was baptized by John who was filled with the Spirit even when in the womb. John though it wise that the one greater than him should baptize him instead, but Jesus said to do it to fulfill all righteousness and we know that it was a sign for John when the Spirit descended on a person that he was the messiah. From there, Jesus ministry really started and he had power from on high.
