    @Jodi Hi Jodi,
    SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD.. You cannot see the kingdom till you take the first steps.
    Heb 6.1
    Therefore, leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity,
    Not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith towards God,
    of instruction about washings and laying on of hands,…[Read more]

    @Jodi Hi Jodi,
    Recognition of who the Son is and what he has done for us does not save us.
    Faith requires obedience to the command ‘that You must be reborn of water and the Spirit.’
    ‘Repent and be baptised for the forgiveness of sin in the name of Jesus Christ and you will receive the Holy Spirit.’

    • Profile picture of Jodi

      Nick I am not following you here, give the scripture.” Faith requires that we follow a command that we must be reborn of water and the Spirit”. That doesn’t make sense, the command part. Yes man must be reborn but it is through the grace of God, man can do nothing of himself. If you have faith in your works not acknowledging that only God is good,…[Read more]

    @anthony Hi Anthony,
    You are putting yourself in a difficult position with God.
    You are telling Him His scriptures are wrong.

    Jesus is the Son of Abraham, David and Mary according to Him.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @t8 Hi T8,
    Do you agree with scripture that the DAVID in psalm 89 is Jesus(Acts 2.29)?
    ‘…I have exalted one chosen from the people,
    “I have found David My servant;
    With My holy oil I have anointed him,
    With whom My hand will be established;’

    It seems like a MAN is chosen and anointed, not a fetus or an infant.

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Yes the Spirit of life is of eternity.

    @t8 Hi t8,
    Ps 45.7
    Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness;
    Therefore God, thy God hath anointed thee with the oil of joy above thy fellows.
    Is this about Jesus? If so was this anointing before he was born?

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @anthony Hi Anthony,
    Mary really was his mother as Jesus told us.
    He was conceived in her remember.

    @t8 Hi t8,
    He came in the flesh to you means the only human part was the flesh?
    Is that your scriptural definition of a MAN.

    • Profile picture of Proclaimer

      The nature he partook of was man. Accept he bypassed the first Adam or sinful flesh and came as the final Adam, perhaps like Adam before sin. That is, Adam fell, but before he fell he was created good.

    @t8 Hi T8,
    God did the miracles through Jesus Christ and the apostles.( acts2.22, acts 3.12)
    Acknowledge the truth of God and give Him the glory as it was His Spirit doing the work.
    No need for any preexistent nature of any flesh as it is all the works of the Almighty God of Israel .

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @t8 Hi t8,
    The Lord promised we would do even greater works than he did.
    Do we need to have preexisted too or did you misunderstand the spiritual language?

    • Profile picture of Proclaimer

      No I don’t think that at all. So many fiery darts lately Nick.
      Perhaps you need a coffee and cookie before you start the day?

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @t8 Hi t8,
    Or perhaps you do not understand the prophetic word you quote.
    None of the apostles preexisted but they did the same works.
    So why Is your theory about the Messiah so important?

    • Profile picture of Proclaimer

      Perhaps I had an overdue library book in 1979? Perhaps lots of things Nick. Keep searching under rocks. You never know, you might find an accusation that sticks. Probably a few. I don’t claim infallibility.

    @t8 Hi t8,
    The recorded words of Peter and the apostles are treated with the same respect as those of the Lord.
    These vessels of uneducated origins were also amazingly used by the Holy Spirit of God.
    Why would you suggest that our Master was different to these men?

    • Profile picture of Proclaimer

      They were not the only begotten of God, full of grace, the messiah born in the city of David. Many more things I could mention. Paul didn’t save Jesus Christ for example, but the messiah saved him. Shall I go on?

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @t8 Hi t8,
    Peter healed the sick, discerned the spirits and raised the dead in the same way as the Master.
    He and the apostles were led and empowered by the Holy Spirit Just like Jesus Christ.
    It is all about the works of God among men, not so much about the vessels.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @t8 Hi t8,
    Jesus Christ demonstrated all the gifts of the Holy Spirit listed in 1Cor 12.
    Because he was filled with the Spirit and the fullness of deity dwellled in him.
    God’s power shows up best in weak people and none showed that power more than him.
    So how weak was this man?

    @t8 Hi t8,
    Jn 4.16
    He said to her ‘ Go, call your husband and come here’
    The woman answered and said ‘ I have no husband’
    Jesus said to her ‘ you have well said “I have no husband”
    For you have had five husbands and the one you now have is not your husband;
    This you have said truly’
    The woman said to him,
    ‘Sir , I perceive that you are a prophet…[Read more]

    @t8 Hi t8,
    Do you not realise you have voided the message from God to men.
    The life of Jesus showed that any man can obey by grace and be made clean by devotion to the scriptures.
    All men too, if they obey the command, can then be given access to the Spirit of God enabling them to be perfected and to be useful to God .

    Forget your preexistent…[Read more]

      All possible because of the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. He is in the glory he had with the Father before the cosmos. Amen!

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @t8 Hi T8,
    Believe he is a preexistent being and you have to show us what was of man. His soul and spirit or just his body?
    If just his body he was never a man like us. Show your hand, your bluff is called.

    • Profile picture of Proclaimer

      Lol. I say that God created all things through the Son of God and the Word of God. And he is with God in the glory he had with him before the universe. The Word was with God in the beginning and became flesh. As to his ontology before and after I will search out my photo collection to see what that looked like exactly. Will get back.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @t8 Hi T8,
    He does not go ve help to angels but He gives help to the seed of Abraham. Heb 2.16
    He had to be made like his brethren in all things. Heb 2.17
    He is a man, body , soul and spirit. We begin life by conception and so did he. He was made lower than the angels just like us.
    Change his origins and he is not a man like us.

    • Profile picture of Proclaimer

      Where does it say that he began life at that point? He is now in the glory he had with the Father before the universe. Seems like you have no proof for your stance and scripture even argues against it.

    @Jodi Hi Jodi,
    ‘God’s Spirit is not made of the dust of the earth.’
    True but neither is the Spirit given to men.
    ‘Then God formed man of dust from the ground,
    and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
    And man became a living being’

    The breath of God was what made dust into something different.

    • Profile picture of Jodi

      Yes we are told exactly that it is Nick. Man was made of the dust of the earth not just his body. The breath of life that God gives to us is just that, taking a man and causing him to be alive verses dead. All of God’s creatures when they are alive are a living soul, when they die they are a dead, no longer a living soul but a dead one. God has…[Read more]

    @t8 Hi t8,
    Is not the Spirit wonderful when it whispers into your soul the answers you seek?
    And reveals the real reasons why you are misunderstood and opposed?

    • Profile picture of Proclaimer

      Did this spirit whisper into you that Jesus is never the Christ, but is only the man in all instances. Only Jesus Christ is the Christ, but not Jesus? Strange doctrine that one.
