Hi Gene,
You have broken Hebrews 1 about angels to justify your dogma.
”Are they not ministering spirits..?”
You have yet to explain how the seven spirits of God are in front of the throne of God.
You are convinced about angelic bodies?

Hi,
Perhaps the 120 years did not relate to lifespan but was the time before God would bring the flood?

Hi dig4,
Fascinating stuff.
God pronounced that He would not strive with man anymore in Gen6 and that his days would be 120 years.
But ,as well as Noah and his sons outliving that time, Shelah, Eber, Serug, Peleg and Reu lived far longer perhaps showing the blessing of God.
Who has the answers?

Hi Dig4,
Thank you for clarifying the question.
Your guess is as good as mine.
Some had children early but others later.
Perhaps some saw their great, great, great …..grandchildren.

Hi Gene,
There is no confusion in God.
So if He says His Spirit is one He does not contradict Himself.
Since scripture gives many meanings for spirit it would be odd to assume it means He has 7 Spirits.
The verse in Rev 1.4 says that these spirits are BEFORE HIS THRONE.
So if God is on the throne how could you see this meaning?
God is…[Read more]

Hi Gene,
God is not a God of confusion but of peace.
In The Father of lights there is no variation or shifting shadow

Hi Gene,
Angels are spirits.
God has servants who do His work.
Angels are the messengers of God.
The watchers role is to be the eyes of God over earth.
God does not have physical eyes as He is spirit.
God is one and His Spirit is one. Look above mere earthly things

Hi Dig4,
Are we talking about Babylon, towers, vaults, vacuums or gravity?
or am only I confused?

Hi dig4,
In relation to what?

Hi Mike,
The Genesis accounts are difficult time wise.
Folks lived several centuries and had children late in life
Noah lived 950 years and perhaps many others lived similar ages?
So when it says in Gen 1o
”The sons of Javan were Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Dodanim. From these the coastlines of the nations were separated into their l…[Read more]

Hi Mike,
I rarely read much of what you post now.
I have no interest in your personal obsession.

Hi Mike,
An invition to join the conversation at the Flat Earth society might have been better.
A more appropriate venue for such an odd subject.
Yes I believe scripture.

Hi Gene,
In your confusion you try to divide the One Spirit of God.

Hi,
Acts 17.21
( Now all the athenians and the strangers visiting there used to spend their time in nothing other than telling or hearing something new)
Why not discuss useful things?

Hi LU,
Even demons believe, and tremble.
God requires witnesses to our belief.
1jn 5.5
Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the son of God? This is the one that came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only but with the water and with the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies because the…[Read more]

Hi LU,
What does scripture say?
Acts 2.37
Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles
’Brethren what shall we do?’
Peter said to them
”Repent and each of you be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit…[Read more]

Hi LU,
The Holy Spirit came down on Jesus at the Jordan.
Lk 24.45
Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures, and he said to them
’Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day,and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in his name to all the nations, beginning f…[Read more]

Hi LU,
Did the apostles baptise in the name of a trinity?
Were they disobedient, because good fruit followed their baptisms?
Eusebius kept a library and in it had an original copy of the gospel of Matthew.
He quotes this verse several times as “baptising in his name”
The library was burnt down so the record is lost.
There are several thr…[Read more]
