Quote (Wakeup @ Jan. 25 2013,04:57)MikeB.How can the anointed Cherub(satan) be man just like us?You misunderstood my post, Wakeup. Gene was claiming that because our Father and God is also Jesus' Father and God, Jesus couldn't have been anything except for a man – exactly like the rest of us.I was pointing out that Jehovah is also the God and…[Read more]

Gene knows a different Jesus from the one taught in the scriptures. He knows a man who was never anything but a human being, just like us.  This normal man hit the lottery of all lotteries when God approached him and said, “Look dude, you're going to eventually die like all men do, right?  But I'm going to make you a deal.  I want your death to be…[Read more]

It seems like you know Keith.  :)Here's another, along the same lines:Acts 3:13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus.According to this scripture, is Jesus the God of the patriarchs?  Or the servant OF that God?I worship the God of Abraham, not His servants – just like His holy servant Jesus t…[Read more]

But there would be no “free agents” if God, the conscience, was truly EVERYWHERE, all the time. :)

Wakeup,With which part of Gene's post do you disagree?Did you know the Greek word “proskuneo” can either mean “God-worship” or “reverence given to any man”?When Trinitarian translations render certain scriptures as “they WORSHIPED Jesus”, the word “proskuneo” is better translated “bowed before”, “did obeisance to”, or “showed reverence to”.Here's…[Read more]

Keith, Jesus says that our God is also his God. The God of Jesus is the Father alone, right? Therefore, the God of us is also the Father alone, right? If not, then how do you explain the fact that Jesus said his God was also our God?

Quote (2besee @ Jan. 24 2013,20:15)Hi Mike,As you can see in this verse, there are two here, 'the son of man' and 'the Holy Spirit'.Yes, Gene and others here think they also have the spirit, or whatever, that enables them to decide which words of Jesus came from the man, and which came from God inside of him.Anyway, I need a DIRECT answer to my…[Read more]

Quote (2besee @ Jan. 24 2013,19:59)…….i believe that the Holy Spirit was not 'begotten' but has always existed with the Father. I believe that the 'begotten' son of God was Jesus. So then “the Word”, who became flesh and dwelled on earth with the glory of God's only begotten, could not possibly have been the Holy Spirit, right?(Btw 2B, you…[Read more]

If God is an “eternal conscience”, then all the vile, filthy thoughts mankind thinks are from God.I'm glad you agree that God is not literally “everywhere all the time”. Not one scripture actually teaches such a thing.

Quote (kerwin @ Jan. 24 2013,18:44)Notice Scripture calls the spirit of a man, man.The word “man” is genitive, Kerwin. It is correctly translated into English as “of man”. Or, more accurately, “who AMONG man” – as the NET and NIV translate it.
