I've seen that before……… people writing G-d in reference to God. I didn't know it was because “god” is supposed to be pagan. And I don't know of any threads on this site about it…….. sorry.

Jesus calls him “the Lord of heaven and earth” at least once in the NT. And yes, He is called “lord” many, many times in scripture.
