    <h3>John 1</h3>
1—In the beginning was the word, and the word was with YHVH Elohim, and the word was YHVH. 2—His word was in the beginning within YHVH. 3—All things were made by reason of YHVH and without YHVH was not anything made that was made. 4—In YHVH is his Spirit; and his Spirit is the light of men. 5—And the light of his Spirit shines in darkness; but the darkness does not understand.

Note for John 1:1-5— (see also 1John 1:5) John 1:1-5 are pivotal verses in understanding who YHVH is. The Greek words “zoe” translated to life and “phos” translated to light give verses 4 and 5 a very definitive meaning. The life of a person is in the spirit. YaHavah’s Spirit is more than life, it is light in the darkness, thus John 1:4-5 expresses YaHavah’s life and light.

The gospel of John tells us about rebirth in the Spirit of YaHavah as represented by the face of an eagle on the fourth Living Creature of Ezekiel. Please refer to the New Testament introduction and table of the four gospels.

John wrote a progression of thought to show his readers that YHVH, his word, and his Spirit are one. (1John 5:6-8) What is in the thoughts and heart of YaHavah, he will accomplish. His reasoning is his thoughts and heart; they are YHVH.

These verses testify that YHVH, his word, and his Spirit are one. John said the same thing in his first epistle in verse 7. 1John 5:7— For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, his word, and his Holy Spirit: and these three are one. The Father manifests the thoughts of his heart by the omnipotence and omnipresence of his Spirit. YaHavah is one. We have one Supreme Deity whose name in Hebrew is YHVH (YaHavah).

John declared the truth of Genesis 1:1-5 and 2:4-5. YHVH is the beginning and He is the end. Literally, the spoken word of YHVH created all and the spoken word of YHVH will judge all. Jesus was conceived in the womb of a virgin by the spoken word of YHVH. Some have placed a metaphoric meaning to John 1:1 calling Jesus YHVH’s Word. But John makes it very clear that YHVH and his (spoken) word are the same. His words come from him even if they are spoken by his chosen prophets or his son.

Jesus is the core of YHVH’s plan of salvation and He is “YHVH with us” by the omnipresence of the Spirit of YHVH (anointed). “YHVH with us” or as commonly stated “God with us” was manifested in the anointing of the seven spirits of YHVH. All of the following references explain what the anointing is and the sequence of fulfillment:

    1. Isaiah 11:1-2—Promised anointing of Jesus in the seven spirits of YaHavah
    2. Daniel 9:24—Prophesied anointing of Jesus called the Holy one
    3. Matthew 3:16-17—Fulfillment of the anointing represented by the descending dove and voice of YHVH. Even so, Jesus was filled with the Spirit of YHVH from the day of his birth. (Luke 1:15)
    4. John 3:5-8—Jesus told his disciples that one must be born again in the spirit
    5. Revelation 5:6—Jesus ascended to heaven to receive the Kingdom of YHVH and release the outpouring of the seven spirit anointing to all who accept the whole truth of Jesus Christ
    6. Acts 2:1-4—Fulfillment of the outpouring of the seven spirit anointing represented by the wind in the upper room and flames on the heads of the disciples. One must be born again in the Spirit of YaHavah to see the Kingdom of YHVH.
    7. The seven spirits are demonstrated in Proverbs 8.

Concerning your statements about 2Thessalonians 2 . . . there are various interpretations for the restrainer and what is being restrained, which is why verses should not be lifted out of the context of their paragraph, chapter, or book including the whole Bible. Falling away is apostasy, which is turning away from the truth of the gospel. When that happens, the Spirit of YaHavah allows the person to go their own way, thus he will not restrain the sin that person has chosen, but does not leave his creation. YaHavah told Jeremiah, Do I not fill heaven and earth, said YHVH. That is an everlastingly true statement because YaHavah is everlasting to everlasting. The following is quoted from the Word of YHVH Bible.

1—Now we beseech you, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to him, 2—that you are not soon shaken in mind, or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, that the day of Christ is imminent. 3—Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], until there comes a falling away first, and that man of sin is revealed, [who is] the son of perdition; 4—who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Deity, or that is worshipped; so that he (thinking himself) as god, sits in the temple of YHVH, showing himself that he is god. 5—Do you not remember, that, when I was still with you, I told you these things?
6—And now you know [who] restrains, that he [the lawless one] might be revealed in his time. 7—For the mystery of iniquity is already at work: but restrained, until removed from the midst. 8—And then shall that lawless one be revealed, whom YHVH shall consume with the Spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9—whose coming [the lawless one] is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10—with all deceit of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11—And for this cause YHVH shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12—that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Note for 2Thessalonians 2:3-5—Paul makes it very clear that the coming of Jesus Christ is not imminent. The son of perdition, a.k.a., the fourth beast of Daniel and the common term—Antichrist, must be exposed first by the coming of Jesus Christ to destroy him (vs. 8). Revelation 11:15—the third woe at the seventh trumpet.

Note for 2Thessalonians 2:4, 6, 11—Verse 4, you are the temple of YHVH. The phrase, “sits in the temple of YHVH” is an expression of apostasy. Verse 6, there is only one power that can restrain sin, which is the Spirit of YHVH. He will reveal and remove the son of perdition at the appointed time. Vs. 11—those who will not believe the truth will be deluded and damned.

Note for 2Thessalonians 2:7—The context of verse 7 below is about sin being restrained by the Spirit of YaHavah until the day of our Lord’s return. Sin is restrained in faithful Believers by the Spirit; otherwise, it is busy at work among the sinful. This is consistent with everything Jesus taught.

    Referenced with Strong’s Dictionary—7—For G1063 the G3588 mystery G3466 iniquity G458 even now G2235 be active G1754 but G3440 restrained now G2722 G737 until G2193 removed G1096 from G1537 (the) midst G3319

This chapter ends with encouragement to hold fast to the truth of the gospel.

HOLD FAST TO THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
13—But we are bound to give thanks always to YHVH for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because YHVH has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of His Spirit and belief of the truth: 14—whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15—Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the precepts which you have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 16—Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and YHVH, even our Father, which has loved us, and has given [us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17—comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.

Deuteronomy 10:14-18–quoted from Word of YHVH Bible

14—Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens [is] YHVH’s your Elohim, the earth [also], with all that therein [is]. 15—Only YHVH had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, [even] you above all people, as [it is] this day. 16—Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked. 17—For YHVH your Elohim [is] Elohim of elohims (as in judges), and Lord of lords, a great El, mighty, and terrible, which regards not persons, nor takes reward: 18—he does execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loves the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

It is so easy to be led astray when taking a piece out of the whole as kerwin has done.  The Bible is very good at explaining what it means when care is taken to listen.  The word “god” has too many shades of grey meaning it is ambiguous.  There are many understandings for that word.  The original Hebrew uses YHVH as the name of our creator translated to LORD.  YHVH is specific.  Elohim (translated to God) is a title of deference meaning one greater than all in reference to YaHavah or more than one in reference to human position such as judges, magistrates, or other gods.   The context of these verses is to love YaHavah your Elohim with all your heart, mind, and soul, which means listening to and obeying YaHavah, ergo, circumcised heart.  YaHavah is above all.  He appoints judges and he judges all without regard to position whether it be high or low, good or bad.  I hope this helps.
