Irene,From what I can see it is not just a disbelief in either satan or Christ that is destructive but it is all the misperceptions and deception about who/what satan is and who Christ is and what God was actually doing.

Nick,Gene is not saying to follow him – we are to follow Jesus but we are also to discuss with each other – part of that is actually listening to what someone says and thinking about it.

To me the important thing is the meaning of his name – I think it is related to “there is salvation in no other name” – Jesus name means God will save – he came in his Fathers name to do his fathers will.
