Scripture says that angels are ministering spirits.
It also says that we will become like the angels.
And it says concerning the body, that first comes the physical, then the spiritual.
Additionally, the Father is called the Father of spirits.
Finally, when we are born from God, we are born of his spirit.
Jesus is the firstborn of…[Read more]

Hi kerwin, today while at church I was thinking about you and your struggles. The church I attend is big on the members having an accountability group where you can openly share your struggles and ask for help and accountability to fight your temptations. Men meet with other men and women meet with other women. Are you a part of such a…[Read more]

I could be wrong, but I don’t think we can change the flesh one bit. It is corrupt and is perishing. But Christ never came to save our flesh, but our souls.
The way out is to build up the spiritual man. To have our soul take its commands from the Spirit of God and not the flesh.
I have addictions myself. One being drugs. My flesh craves…[Read more]

To whomever is concerned,
I find being a slave of the desires of the flesh is a great pain. I am told that the way out is through faith in Jesus Christ. Any other way is incomplete.
In my mind I want to be free but yet my flesh drives me to do what my society and my God tell me what is wrong. I pray but it often seems my prayers fall…

@Kerwin,
I’m sorry for your terrible struggle. I have wondered if hypnosis would help a person gets a repulsion for whatever they are addicted to or healing in some manner through the method of hypnosis by a Christian therapist. Hi kerwin,
Yes we know what you are saying, we are just pointing out that the technologies being perfected are good examples to the likely technologies to be used which match the mark of the beast narrative of “IN” the right hand etc.
Those words spoken over 2000 years ago can be seen taking shape today through technologies which…[Read more]

I used the NASB.
The phrase “who is in the bosom of the Father” seems to indicate a position of intimacy but I am not sure.Proclaimer replied to the topic Does 1 Peter 2 imply that Jesus is God? in the forum Truth or Tradition 10 years ago
Although, he existed in the form of God, he emptied himself, and came in the flesh. Now he is at the right-hand of God in the glory that he had with him before the cosmos began. As for the body, there is a physical body and there is a spiritual body.

So is that a no…this verse, as translated is not your confession?The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
Are you asking me if I believe the manuscripts these words are translated from are more accurate to the original words than those that instead say “The first man is from the earth, m…[Read more]

Do you believe this:
1 Tim 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.Lightenup replied to the topic Does 1 Peter 2 imply that Jesus is God? in the forum Truth or Tradition 10 years, 1 month ago

you said:We are not told what there body is composed of so all we can do is speculate.
Is it reasonable to assume that their bodies are significantly different than humans although similar in some ways?

Of all those that have possibly been called God/god in scripture, how many of them have dominion over all creation for ever and ever? Can you identify them?

@kerwin
you said:His body is already the descendant of David and therefore cannot be God kind. So all that is left is the spirit and soul.
Why do you believe that a heavenly being cannot supernaturally become flesh if it is God’s purpose?
