I agree that the source I used was biased, as am I, towards the truth as given in scripture. I believe scripture although mistranslated and misunderstood is still our best source to understand the truth of the world around us.

It seems to me that we were made in the image of God at the time of creation and it does not depend on our sin condition. You really haven’t shown me any scripture that says otherwise. We can’t undo that mankind was made in the image of God by sinning.

I thought that I had remembered it being among the possibilities but no, if it meant ‘chief’ it would be a different Greek word with the Strong’s number 747 which is a masculine noun. Salvation happens once, when the person accepts Jesus as their LORD and Savior and His redemption of them by His death, burial, and resurrection; it is a free gift offered to all people.
