Gollamudi,”Why Jews reject Jesus” by Yossi Ginzberg reads:Quote All traditional Jewish sources agree on several issues germane to this:1) The Messiah will herald in an endless era of world peace. 2) God has no physical presence, and cannot “father” a child. 3) The Torah (Old Testament) cannot be changed or abrogated. 4) Deeds are as important, if…[Read more]

Ed J.,I am not sure what Luke 8:5 has to do with your point that the Holy Spirit is God. The seed is the word of God, or more specifically all of Jesus’ teachings. That is not literally the same as the Holy Spirit. I suppose you can make the point that figuratively the Holy Spirit is the Word of God.I am going to disagree with you on Hebrews 7…[Read more]

You are correct that Deuteronomy 6:4 proves there is only one God. We all know that if you have one of an item you do not have 3 of that same item. For example you cannot have 1 apple at the same time you have 3 apples. You either have 1 apple or 3 apples. The Trinitarians attempt to prove that you can have 1 apple at the same time you have 3…[Read more]

Quote (chosenone @ Jan. 19 2010,11:29)kerwin. Saved by obedience to the law, and saved by the “Grace of God”, are two different things. As shown by Israel, they were not able to obey the law, God turned away from them. We are now saved by the “Grace of God”, not by anything we can do, (obedience). Christ Jesus took the sins of the world on Hi…[Read more]
