Barley,Philippians 2:15 was a good scripture to answer the question about the light coming into the world. The Holy Spirit is the light within us that makes us a light unto the world.

To all,John 10:1 is obviously speaking of the new heaven and new earth and the sheep are the believers. Their is only one way to enter and that is through the true doctrine of Christ. Anyone attempting to enter any other way is up to no good.

Pierre,According to Galatians 5:16-24 the righteousness that comes from God is the Holy Spirit. We receive and live by it through obeying all Jesus' teachings.

Mike Boll,He became poor in he died for us when we were still guilty of wickedness.  He died for the though wee were vile so we would have the chance to be reconciled to God.He could have ascended to heaven as Enoch and Elijah did but instead chose to die for us.

Irene,I address Romans 7:13-25 in my post to Gene. I previously addressed Romans 4:7-8 by pointing out that the sins, of those who believe God will teach them to and give them the power to stop sinning, committed before the promise is fulfilled will be forgiven as God will do as he promised.
