Pierre,I read you post but I believe you should consider what I wrote about soul, spirit, and the breath of life in my thread about the two natures of Jesus before we continue this discussion.

Pierre,I do not yet know for sure if the spirit that drives a person’s behavior is also the breath of life that causes a person to live. I do know that the breath of life and the soul are at times called spirit but the definitions differ. The breath of life may just be one aspect of the sprit that drives one. We do get a new spirit that d…[Read more]

Pierre,You ask where scripture states the divine righteousness of God is part of his nature? As to the word “nature” the definition is “A spontaneous attitude”.As to the word “divine” the definition is “of, relating to, or proceeding directly from God or a god”.I thus point out that the words divine nature as defined above can mean righteous attit…[Read more]

Mike Boll,You wrote:Quote Kerwin says if his mother made him a gift before he was born, then he could speak about the gift “HE HAD” before he was born. Pierre,You are rather confused in your words as you do say the Jesus is a spiritual being clothed in flesh that is decended from David. That description is not a human being that is a Spiritual being animating a human body. They are two different kinds. You also contradict this by stating Jesus has two natures. One that of being a deti and the…[Read more]

Pierre,Good question. I believe if you read the statue on rebuking in the Law of Mosses and the rest of the words in the passage about the blood of the prophets that you can find the understanding you seek by asking God for guidance. I am suggesting you apply the principle that tell why you should rebuke your neighbor to the passage in question…[Read more]

Georg,Scripture declares that Elijah was taken up to heaven on a wirlwind. That is God's words you are disputing and not mine. I told you how I have been led to resolve the contradiction that scripture proposed but cry to God for understand and seek it as treasure and you will come to a godly solution. You have not yet arrived at that…[Read more]

Pierre,How do you resolve the issue that you both believe Enoch did not experience death and that he died. The scripture you quoted stated the former and you stated the later.

Just Askin,I agree that scripture testifies that Jesus is the first born from among the dead but I believe this is in reference to Romans 6:4 in scripture where it states that we died with Christ in baptism and are raised with him to a new life. If you remember in 1 Corinthians 15:52 is states not all will die but some will changed from worldly…[Read more]

Pierre,The whole old and new testaments contain Jewish interpretation of Scripture so it is unwise to call such ungodly as you then call Scripture ungodly. That is one reason I have advised you to listen long so that you could consider what you should say and test is to make sure it is in agreement with the Spirit of God before answering.Paul is…[Read more]

Pierre,I agree that Enoch lived on this earth 365 years and then was no longer on this earth because God took him away to another place. God did not take away a dead body as was the case with Moses as that is not what scripture states. Where do you think God took him away to?

Lightenup,It certainly looks like the experts debate over what the words of Psalms 110:3 are I would at most be one more voice is a bable of voices. Each of us would most likely be lead to select those translation which best fit what we already believe. Verses such as this because of the debate they cause are not the type to base our beliefs on.

Pierre,We do move freely in God but never the less we move in him, Acts 17:28. As Acts 17:28 is true it follows we can neither have life, movement or being outside of God. And as to my knowledge skills being from God see Daniel 1:17. It is the Spirit of God that gives such gifts to each of us as God apportions.I stated I was lead by the spirit…[Read more]

Lightenup,The Spirit moved me to consider what you wrote and so I checked what the King James version translation states.
