Wispring,Scripture states that the order to love is the whole quanity of the law.  That is also to say love is the whole moral code.  Since God lives according to the moral code of love it follow that in at least that way God is love.  His moral code will become ours when we are fully mature in Christ, since that is what living by the Spirit accomplishes.
