Mike,”he” and like pronouns in John 1:14 seem to refer to either:  1) The Word made flesh or  2) The WordI favor the second.To correct what I wrote earlier, John 1:4 actually states that Life is in the Word not Light as I have been claiming.It does say the Life is the Light of Men.
